A very attentive guide who clearly explained the origins of the park. She gave clear details about each work by Antoni Gaudí. A wealth of impressive details that contextualized the entire work and also its correlation with other works in the city of Barcelona. A work aimed at the wealthier class, which above all did not attract future residents. Only one person lives there, and I found its integration with the school interesting. It is important to note the limitation on the number of people allowed in for the preservation and safety of the children who study there. Wonderful view of the city and the port. In addition to the details, the intelligence in creating a rainwater reservoir and the plan to create a market in the columns. Wonderful.

The day before the guided tour with an Italian guide, I was informed that the Italian guide was not available, only the English guide. Since that was our last day in Barcelona, we agreed to do the tour in English even though we didn't know the language. Headout customer service offered us a small partial refund. The park was so beautiful that we enjoyed the tour even though it wasn't what we had booked. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the operator on the phone.

Park Güell is one of Barcelona's most iconic landmarks and is definitely worth a visit. The park offers spectacular panoramic views of the city and the sea, as well as Gaudí's famous works such as the staircase with the salamander and the undulating terrace. I recommend booking tickets in advance on Headout to avoid long waits and visiting early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when there are fewer crowds and the light is perfect for photos. Wear comfortable shoes: the park is large and has several hills. An excellent cultural and relaxing experience.

The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Ms. Olga was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She helped me appreciate both the theological aspect and Gaudi's Greek influence, as well as the symbolic beauty of his art. Perfect punctuality.

Tour without much explanation about the special features. The guide lacks enthusiasm and does not convey his passion for this tour and Park Güell.

  • Getting started

Meet your guide at Carrer de Larrard 53, just to the left of the gift shop, where you’ll be welcomed with an introduction to the park’s history. After a quick ticket check, your guide will outline the route and set the stage for your exploration.

    What to expect

Step into one of Barcelona’s most celebrated landmarks, designed by Antoni Gaudí in the early 20th century. This UNESCO World Heritage Site blends architectural innovation with natural landscapes, offering insight into Gaudí’s vision for urban spaces. After the guided tour, you’re free to continue exploring the park’s unique features at your own pace.

    Features

    • Viaducts: Walk along elevated stone pathways that mimic natural forms, showcasing Gaudí’s integration of architecture and landscape.

    • Casa Gaudí Museum: See the former residence of Gaudí, now a museum highlighting his life and creative legacy.

    • Rosary Pathway: Follow a scenic route lined with rounded bollards, built atop an old Roman road and surrounded by lush greenery.

    • Main Terrace: Capture panoramic views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea from the park’s central terrace, bordered by the iconic serpentine bench.

    • Hypostyle Room: Enter a columned hall with 86 Doric columns, originally designed as a marketplace and ingeniously used to collect rainwater.

    • Dragon Staircase: Meet “El Drac,” the park’s famous mosaic salamander, a symbol of Gaudí’s playful style and vibrant use of color.

    • Casa del Guarda: Admire the whimsical, mosaic-covered roof of this fairytale-like house, reflecting Gaudí’s imaginative approach to design.
