Alexandra, the guide, was welcoming and did an excellent job of commentary. The gardens were spectacular when we visited. Ease of taking the bus to/from Giverny was a plus.Jackie

The gardens are incredible--particularly the pond. What a memorable experience. Our issues arose from the fact that my husband requires a wheelchair to walk more than about 50 metres. He walked from the restaurant, and I went to get the chair. Was told the chair can't leave the garden! How does a person with limited mobility get to the garden?? I figured out that taxis tend to be in the parking lot and so took one to pick him up at the restaurant and take him to the nearest garden entrance (gate on the road). Then had to call another taxi after our visit to take him to the parking lot. It was ridiculous. You should allow a companion to walk, with a staff member, to pick up the wheelchair user outside the garden.

Good organization, good timing, the time was absolutely enough to see the house and garden and there was still time for the museum store.
