Rio de Janeiro Tandem Paragliding Flight over São Conrado with GoPro Photos and Video

Soar on a tandem paragliding flight over Tijuca Forest, Pedra da Gávea, and São Conrado with a CBVL-certified instructor and GoPro footage included.

Getting started

Check in at Clube São Conrado de Voo Livre and complete the club registration fee and mandatory insurance payment of BRL 120 at the club. After check-in, you meet your CBVL-certified instructor pilot, receive your safety equipment, and get a detailed safety briefing. Once everything is ready, you board the transport from the club to the Pedra Bonita launch site.

What to expect

Pedra Bonita launch site

Perched 517 meters above sea level, the Pedra Bonita launch site is where your tandem paragliding flight begins.

Features

• Take off from the Pedra Bonita launch site at 517 meters above sea level and glide out over the Tijuca Forest, Pedra da Gávea, and the sea of São Conrado, with a flight duration that typically ranges from 10 to 20 minutes depending on the wind.
• Fly on a private tandem paragliding flight with your own instructor pilot, who is certified by the CBVL, ideal even if you are a first-time flyer with no previous experience.
• Use of safety equipment is included and accompanied by a clear safety briefing so you know exactly how to sit, hold, and move during the flight.
• Benefit from included transport from the club to the Pedra Bonita launch site, so you can focus on the experience instead of the logistics.
• GoPro photos and videos of your flight are included, with a GoPro camera capturing your takeoff, flight over Tijuca Forest, Pedra da Gávea, and São Conrado, and landing at São Conrado.

Wrapping up

Your flight ends with a landing on the sands of São Conrado, where you reconnect with the club team and can review your GoPro photos and videos before departing on your own, as transport back from the meeting point is not included.
