    This majestic statue towers over Rio like a guardian angel, the art deco design is beautiful. The views from the top are stunning. I booked to go at 11am and was up at the statue by 11.30am. However, it was very busy - there was a bit of a scramble by families with small children to sit together on the train. People have said to go early, but when I came down there was no one waiting.

    I loved it. It's worth taking the 7:20 a.m. tour, which is the first one, so you can be the first to arrive, take good photos, and see it without so many people around.

    Everyone who comes to Rio wants to visit Jesus. And while it is a majestic high level view of The Marvelous City, it is quite far away from the actual city. The view from Pão de Açúcar is actually much closer up and unique. There are trails that you can take to really get the whole panoramic of the city. Anyone who comes to Rio needs to do the Pão de Açúcar
