The group then moves together through the museum spaces in a set route.

What to expect

Oskar Schindler's Factory

Step into Krakow during the Second World War as you walk through the museum created inside Oskar Schindler's former enamel factory. Your guide leads you through rooms that trace daily life in the city, occupation, ghettoization, resistance, and liberation.

Features

• Documentary photographs line many of the rooms, so you see wartime Krakow and its residents in original images while your guide explains the context behind key scenes.

• You listen to eyewitness accounts that share first-hand memories of life in the ghetto and under occupation, helping you connect personal stories with the places you are walking through.

• Film documentaries are part of the route, adding archival footage and curated clips that your English-speaking guide uses to deepen the narrative at specific points in the exhibition.

• Immersive multimedia shows surround you with sound, light, and projected images that reconstruct street scenes, official propaganda, and moments of resistance, making abstract events easier to grasp.

• Reconstructed ghetto passages appear as narrow, enclosed corridors, giving you a physical sense of confinement while your local expert explains how movement and control shaped daily life.

• A typical Jewish apartment has been recreated, from furnishings to layout, so you can visualize domestic life before and during the war as your guide points out details that reflect changing conditions.

• Throughout the guided tour with an English-speaking local expert, you gain unique insights into resistance and liberation, with your guide answering questions and linking each gallery to broader events.

• Access to documentary photographs, eyewitness accounts, film documentaries, and immersive multimedia shows is included in your visit, forming the core material your guide uses to build the story.
