FamilyVerified booking5 days ago4/5Great trip to the Salt mines, transport was comfortable and guide was very welcoming. Tour guide in the salt mine was great. Unfortunately when we arrived at Schindlers Factory, we had to wait outside for 10-15 mins whilst the driver went inside to buy our tickets. I had assumed that when I made the booking, the tickets were bought. I also thought that the tour of the factory was a guided tour, but it was not, we were advised to take a picture of the map of the exhibition and pointed in the right direction. The Schindlers factory tour was more about the Nazi's in Krakow during the war rather than about Oskar Schindler or his factory. I would suggest bringing something to eat as it is straight from one tour to another.SSilvia P

CoupleVerified bookingFeb 20265/5Really good, people seem to be put off by the steps at salt mine but no problems at all. They are down steps and then a lift back up to the top! Amazing tour guide! This is a must see. Factory was great too, all about polish history and Oskar Schindler. Very movingRRichard P
CoupleVerified bookingFeb 20264/5The salt mine is a must se. The guide was excellent and tour area very well presented. The carving of the last supper is superb. The Schindler factory tour is less about the factory and more a museum of the occupation of Krakow during WW II. Very well done and upsetting in places, understandably, but there is nothing of the factory itself as it was emptied after the war. Both tours were by third parties. The first by Krakow Direct, well organised with good transport and driver to the mine where mine guides took over. A1 visit and guide. There was then almost two hours to wait after this tour when we were dropped off at Schindlers factory. Despite our booking containing the line 'meals included' nothing was and we had no contact with Headout at all. Essentially this wasn't a problem as there's Restaurant Paleo opposite the factory which was ideal with good food and friendly staff. The factory guide was good and explained well but we found we were missing a few parts of the museum.
Experience the wonder of a centuries-old salt mine, and the solemn weight of Krakow’s wartime past, on this 6-hour guided tour of Wieliczka Salt Mine and Schindler's Factory.
