Our family trip to the Lisbon Aquarium was one of the highlights of our visit to Portugal. Traveling with kids can sometimes be unpredictable, but this was an experience that kept everyone engaged from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the massive central tank immediately captured our attention. The kids were absolutely mesmerized watching sharks, rays, and colorful fish glide peacefully through the water. What made it even better was how the exhibits are designed—you can see different parts of the same tank from multiple levels, which kept the experience fresh as we moved through the space. One of the best parts for our children was the variety of ecosystems represented. They loved going from penguins waddling around in their icy habitat to playful otters swimming energetically. Each section felt immersive and educational without being overwhelming, which is perfect for younger visitors with shorter attention

We’re from another country; my one-year-old son, my husband, and I came here. We visited the aquarium—it was a fantastic experience that exceeded all our expectations. It’s a delightful outing and an unforgettable experience. The venue is air-conditioned to a very comfortable temperature. Everything is spotlessly clean. The lighting is perfect for making the seabed even more captivating in this vivid, lifelike experience. The interactive technology surprised us; the sounds of the animals and the realistic images truly immerse you in the ocean. Thank you to the aquarium staff, who were attentive and helpful to us and our baby. Oh, there’s an area with interactive lights that my baby loved watching and participating in. The care shown for the animals on display and the environments make the efficiency and quality of the oceanarium’s staff clear. Congratulations! You made our trip special.... You surprised me and my family.

The oceanarium was amazing. It is well organized with an extensive variety of species. The cable car was so-so..just a short ride but a different viewpoint.i travelled with a two year old..he enjoyed it. The hotel restaurant has great views and an interesting decor.nice relaxing place to have a drink. Note: you have to download tickets in the oceanarium app and the cable car app.

An incredible visit to the oceanarium! The highlights of this visit include seeing the giant otters, the penguins, and the sunfish in the large tank with the sharks. We were also very happy to be in a place sheltered from the sun during this sweltering afternoon. In this aquarium, there are several benches and areas where you can sit and watch all the species in this enormous tank. There isn’t much information about some of the fish, so I’d recommend using Google Lens to scan these species. Enjoy your visit!

You’ll catch sight of a variety of marine creatures like big sharks, beautiful manta rays, jellyfish, puffins & much more. The main attraction here is sure to be the otters with their antics making you chuckle away at their adorable ways. You’ll see cute little penguins, octopuses & pretty corals, so get ready to click some amazing pictures. National Palace of Pena

You’ll be awestruck by this architectural genius in Sintra, inspired by a mix of styles like Neo-Gothic & Neo-Renaissance. The impressive 19th - century yellow and red structure crowns the Sintra hills forming Lisbon’s stunning cultural landscape. Be sure to fully admire the intricate details within the palace like the Triton’s Terrace adorned with blue and white. There is an incredible marine and coral-inspired archway with a mythological sculpture of Triton, the Greek god of the Sea. You’ll notice lovely shells, conches & coral designs. From the Courtyard of Arches, you’ll be able to see all the way to the ocean through the walled row of ochre arches on a clear day. The views from the palace are absolutely breathtaking. The interiors have been remodeled to depict the Palace as it was when the Royal family departed in 1910. If you’re into history, you’ll simply love the artifacts in place.

The Park

The park in itself is full of mysteries with its lush forest and exotic plants from all over the world.
