    What our guests say

Still buzzing from last night—honestly, chasing the Northern Lights was something I didn't think would actually work out for us but it DID! Our guide (cannot remember his name, sorry) was sooo patient with us, answering my billion questions and even lent me gloves when mine got soaked. The sky was mostly clear but there were a few clouds early on, which made me nervous. We drove for what felt like ages but it was worth it, because when that green glow started dancing, the whole van gasped. He snapped a bunch of photos for us, which is lucky because my phone totally failed. The hot berry juice at the end was a life-saver. If you’re cold-blooded like me, wear two pairs of socks!!

I went solo and honestly was a bit nervous about being awkward with strangers, but the group vibe was chill. Our guide, Max, was super friendly and made sure everyone got their own photo under the lights. He even showed us how to set up our phones for night shots (didn’t help my ancient Samsung but appreciate the try). The aurora itself was legit MAGICAL—like, actual goosebumps. Dress warm, it’s colder than you think standing around waiting for the show.

Went out chasing the lights with my boyfriend. It was a bit crowded in the van, ngl, but our guide made it fun. We saw a tiny bit of aurora at first and were kinda disappointed, but he didn’t give up and drove us to a second spot. That’s where we got lucky—like, the sky just exploded in color. Felt a bit rushed taking pics (everyone wanted their turn lol), but still, I'd say worth it. Just bring snacks, cause it’s a long ride and the cookies went FAST.

Took the tour with my mum. Didn’t really know what to expect and was secretly scared we’d see nothing. But our guide (think his name was Jari?) was SO enthusiastic and really knew his stuff. He kept checking the sky, moving us around to different spots, and finally we saw the lights. Like, the whole sky just… lit up. Mum cried. Bless. Even got a group photo and he made us all hot chocolate. I’m not a cold weather person, but totally glad I did this.

We did the tour as a family of four (kids 9 and 12). They loved the adventure aspect—lots of driving around, looking out the windows, guessing which cloud was actually aurora. Only downside: looong night and the youngest got a bit whiny. But we DID see the lights, and the guide was super patient with all our questions. He even let the kids use his fancy camera for a minute. Would recommend for families, just bring extra snacks!
