    Meet your Italian-speaking guide at the designated meeting point in the Buda district. After a brief introduction, your group sets off on foot, ready to explore the neighborhood’s most significant sites and learn about their history.

    The Buda district is the oldest part of Budapest, perched on the western bank of the Danube and known for its medieval streets, royal palaces, and panoramic views. This area has been the seat of Hungarian kings and a crossroads of cultures for centuries.

    • Matthias Church (Chiesa di Mattia): Admire the colorful roof tiles and neo-Gothic architecture of this iconic church, a symbol of Buda’s religious and royal heritage. Entry is optional and not included.

    • Fisherman’s Bastion: Enjoy the fairy-tale towers and arcades, designed in the late 19th century, offering unique views over the Danube and Pest.

    • Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

    • Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited during the tour.

    Accessibility

    • This experience is not wheelchair accessible, as the route includes uneven surfaces and stairs.

    • The meeting point is in front of the Buda funicular entrance, on the Clark Ádám Square side.

    • Entry to the Matthias Church is not included and is optional at your own expense.

    • The tour will proceed even in case of rain.
