Getting started
Arrive at Bournemouth Oceanarium any time from 10am, with last entry allowed up to one hour before closing (5pm on weekdays, 6pm on weekends). Present your entry ticket at the main entrance to begin your visit—no advance check-in or guide required. Once inside, you are free to move through the exhibits in any order you choose.

Please be aware that on wet days during school holidays and weekends, the Oceanarium can get extremely busy. Although the venue does not have a maximum capacity, it will stop admitting people when it reaches capacity. This means that if you visit on a wet day in the school holidays or on weekends, please be advised that you may have to queue for a long time to get in (some of which may be outside without cover), and that it will be very busy once you are inside the aquarium, particularly around feeding times. Please note that buying online does not guarantee fast-track entry.
