The Chain Reaction on the 1st floor - a lot of engineering and aesthetic design went into creating the set. And the presenter was great, and it was obvious she herself enjoyed every minute of it. The rest of 1st floor, and all others, had that same combo of science and pleasure for the eyes and ears and fingers. Rooftop restaurant was nice with a great view, 4th floor (about us humans) had the right level of scientific depth and entertainment, we had little time for the 3rd floor, the labs on the 2nd - simple, hands on, exciting. Again, a lot of design thinking went into them (in college I had 5 different chemistry-related subjects).

NEMO is great for young kids - we found it fun to explore and if we lived there would probably go often. There were crowds however, and we didn't spend as much time as we had expected as most of the levels weren't as interesting for our 4yo & 6yo. Having to download the app at the ticketing desk was annoying - why couldn't the tickets be simply attached to the email like everyone else does it?
