Our guide Manuela was absolutely brilliant! She was very friendly and knowledgeable, providing lots of interesting information and answering all our questions. Our bus had a slight malfunction, but she and the driver Irene did a great job of keeping us still on track and where we needed to be. The views on the trip were stunning and the port was of course delicious! Overall it was a brilliant experience and a great way to see the Douro valley.

A very enjoyable activity with a brief stop allowing for a quick tour of the town of Amarante. The visit to the port producer was well organized, followed by a pleasant little trip on the Douro. Then, lunch and another visit to a slightly more rustic estate. Very nice. A special thank you to our guide Christian, who is an excellent guide with a great sense of humor!

Guide was great. Liked the first tasting particularly and the lunch. Amarante visit as outlined in tour inclusion didn't happen which was disappointing because we'd booked this tour because of the inclusion. Boat trip could have done with a commentary. The venue meeting point was the church but the directions link did not take us there. Just say in your details the church is the meeting point.
