At the time of arrival, we were able to enter with our tickets with ease. We showed up 45 minutes early so we had to wait in a lineup of others who were also early. They control the amount if traffic entering in this way which was appreciated because it was very very busy. The gardens and the palace themselves are stunning. We waited about 30 minutes in line to see the initiation well, but it was so worth it. We both really enjoyed learning about the property and the man who built it via the interactive video and historical timelines that they have on display in one of the buildingsDavid

The Quinta da Regaleira was the best sight we visited in Sinatra. Much better than the Pena Palace and much easier to get to, just a 10 minute walk from the center. Can easily spend 2 hours walking the grounds so if you you only have time for one do this one.Marta

It is all about convenience and turning to Headout facilitated the purchase of not one location (monument ) but two to visit. The website presented various options and packages,(which made it harder to choose) with a simplified form of navigation. It was easy and a satisfying experience to choose, pay and receive all the necessary information for my visit. I highly recommend HEAD OUT.COM.Kenneth

The space is just indescribable, at least in a way to do it justice. Stunning things to see at every turn. A glorious place to visit! No picture can do it justice. We loved exploring the caves and the well the most but so much more than that to do.Jean-guy

The site was a magical place and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Spent about 3.5 hours exploring. Was a bit disappointed that the palace section was only 1 floor. I saw lots of map postings but I didn't see any "you are here" markers. Of course it was crowded but everyone was happy. I didn't see one person in a foul mood.
This combo gives you access to two of Sintra's most iconic palaces: The National Palace of Sintra and the Quinta de Regaleira. Their proximity makes this the ideal booking for a tour of Sintra's best treasures.
National Palace of Sintra
The National Palace of Sintra served as a residence for almost every Portuguese king and queen till the end of the monarchy in 1910. The first thing you’ll notice from a distance is its two conical chimneys and rooms, culminating centuries of Moorish and Portuguese history. The tour will take you through some of its most iconic rooms, including the Swan Hall, the Magpie Room, the Palatine Chapel, and the Heraldic Hall with its octagonal dome. Each space features intricate details from a variety of different influences.
Quinta de Regaleira
The Quinta de Regaleira was built in the 20th century by António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro, a wealthy Brazilian businessman. Walking through each floor, you’ll come across a mix of Gothic, Rainnaisance, and Manueline styles. A stroll through the gardens will lead you to an underground network of tunnels and an initiation well. Every corner is dotted with symbolism, and the tunnels also lead to a secret entrance that leads to the Initiation Well.
