Make your way to My Son Sanctuary and present your valid ID and booking confirmation at the ticket office for admission. The sanctuary is located over 40 kilometers west of Hoi An and is set within a peaceful valley surrounded by mountains. Once inside, you can explore the archaeological site at your own pace and attend the scheduled cultural performances.

What to expect

• : Wander through the remains of My Son Sanctuary, where the Champa people built Hindu temples as early as the 4th century. The complex features around 70 temple structures spread across the valley.

• Discover the distinctive construction and intricate carvings of the ancient Cham temples. Despite centuries of exposure to the elements, several carvings and architectural details remain remarkably preserved.

• Learn about My Son’s role as the religious center of the ancient Champa Kingdom. The temple complex reflects the strong influence of Hindu beliefs and Cham architectural traditions.

• The sanctuary’s location among dense greenery and surrounding mountains creates a tranquil contrast to the weathered temple ruins, making the site especially atmospheric to explore.
