The story

In 1990 post-Wall Berlin, siblings Nina and Mario embrace a new life in the vibrant "Konsum Hoffnung" squat. Their world is soon upended when their mother, Rosi, arrives after her hair salon closes, determined to bring them home. Amidst the city's transformation, the family's journey explores love, shifting identities, and the ultimate search for personal freedom.
