Ferrari Museums (Enzo + Maranello) — Stunning cars, missing depth Being surrounded by Ferrari's production cars across decades at the Maranello Museum is genuinely fantastic. The machines are beautiful, and for anyone who appreciates high-quality engineering and design, just standing among them is worth the visit. What's missing is the story behind the machines. The museum relies on emotional, vague language throughout. There's no explanation of what makes Ferrari's engines so high-performance, no insight into the design and engineering decisions behind the power, the sound, the colours. These are machines born from engineering — I wanted to understand how and why, not just feel impressed. The Enzo Ferrari Museum was the bigger surprise. I went in hoping to learn about the man — his racing obsession, his philosophy, his journey from driver to founder. Instead, the exhibit focused on cars owned by celebrities and famous singers. The emphasis on celebrity ownership felt like status signalling rather than storytelling, and beyond some passing references to people Enzo knew, there was very little about the man himself. Both museums deliver on spectacle — the cars are extraordinary and worth seeing up close. But for visitors looking for engineering depth or the human story behind the brand, the experience stays on the surface.

I loved the history shown through the photos, and the video was incredible and emotional. However, for the entry price, the photo inside the blue Ferrari should be included for free and scheduled to avoid lines. That's just my opinion, but overall it was a great and memorable experience!
