The monument is fabulous, albeit very tricky to climb all the steps, even if you don't have mobility issues! But the view from the top was breathtaking and totally worth it. The ticket was great as it covers everything, including the midfield inside, which was a fantastic collection of military history and worth seeing too if you have the time.Jody

The Capitoline Museums should be your first stop when visiting Rome. The exhibits put every other Roman attraction into o perspective. Make sure you see both museums. There's an underground corridor that connects them, on the bottom floor.Stefan

Magnificent place! The museum is incredible, and when you enter the Sistine Chapel. A little benevolence from the museum staff is missing.Adrian

The Capitoline Museum is full of excellent exhibits that you must see, "Aurelius on horseback" & "the she-wolf with Romulus & Remus" to name but two. Make sure you go undergroiund to get to the building across the Piazza - it's not completely obvious that you have done that (note to museum, sign post this so it is more obvious?) The cafe & the views over Rome are a great break if your legs are aching!
