It was great to walk through the little town on our own and learn all about it along the way. It was our first time doing it this way, and we’re already really excited for our next tour! It’s perfect if you want to experience the tour not with a large group, but just with your family, for example. Unfortunately, the shuttle buses were so crowded on both the way there and back, and the lines at the stops were so long, that we decided to walk both ways—it actually took about the same amount of time, if not less. Mont St. Michel is a real highlight, but it’s also very crowded. It’s best to start as early as possible.

Everything was great. To be honest, I was worried I'd have to buy admission tickets all over again. In the end, everything went wonderfully—both the admission tickets and the tablet codes were valid. The only thing I’d like to mention is that I ordered tickets for three people and received six identical barcodes in the app. I had to figure out at the ticket counters, by trial and error, which ones were for admission and which ones were for the tablets.
