Unfortunately, we were ill on vacation, so you should know that we did not take part. So they couldn't judge how the experience was. Went solo and felt totally safe the whole time. Met a few other travelers on the shuttle over. The climb up is no joke but the payoff is insane—the view is UNREAL. Didn’t really eat at the restaurants, just grabbed a pastry. The abbey itself is so peaceful even with crowds.

Went last Sunday with my sister and wow, Mont Saint Michel is just—magical??? The walk from the shuttle is longer than you think, so wear decent shoes. Weather was gray but honestly made the abbey look even more EPIC. We spent like half the time gawking at the views. Only bummer—sooo many people, felt like we were in a parade at times. Still, totally worth it!
