The Abbey in all its glory

This magnificent building, which is dedicated to the archangel Saint Michel, contains cloisters surrounded by arched pathways, galleries held up by an infinite series of columns, and an exquisite refectory where monks once gathered for their quiet meals. What to bring

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes as there is lots of walking and to carry warm clothing in the winter.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind that pets, carrier bags, knives, and scooters are not allowed on this experience.

The abbey does not offer baggage storage, and access is not allowed for suitcases or large hiking bags. Only small bags (smaller than cabin size) are permitted.

Accessibility

The site is challenging for visitors with reduced mobility, but assistance devices and adapted tour options are available. However, despite these accommodations, some areas may still be difficult to access.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed inside the monument.
