Just got back from the 3-day Merzouga trip and WOW, still finding sand in my socks lol. The drive was loooong (esp the first day) but our guide, Idriss, kept spirits up with jokes & random music trivia. Loved the camel trek at sunset—felt like a movie. At camp, it got COLD at night, so bring a hoodie or two. Food was simple but tasty (tagine = yum). My boyfriend tried the sandboarding, I just watched & laughed. The stars…like, can’t even describe, you gotta see for urself. Only minus: some touristy shops along the way, but we just smiled & didn’t buy. Would totally do it again with friends!

Went with my partner, was def worth the money. The desert camp was more comfortable than I expected—actual beds, not mats! Guides were friendly but English was just so-so, so sometimes hard to get details about places we passed. Still, they tried hard. Food at the camp was warm and filling. Only thing: we felt a bit rushed at Todra Gorge, wish we coulda stayed longer there.

Three days, a million memories. We did the quad tour add-on—dusty faces, but totally worth it for the views. My mom came too, she was nervous about the camels but ended up loving it. The guides (shout-out to Rachid & Aziz) were so patient with her. Campfire jams at night = highlight. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper because the desert is NOT silent (wind, dogs, someone’s snoring).

Good experience overall. Went with two friends. The car ride felt endless, ngl, but lots of stops helped. Our driver, Hamid, was always smiling and gave us oranges from his village (so sweet). Camp felt safe. Bit too many souvenir stops on day 2, but otherwise great. Watch for the sun—got a bit crispy.

If you love nature and don’t mind looong drives, this is for you. Group was mixed ages, which was fun. I liked the desert sunset but the food at the first hotel was meh. Not much time for photos at Kasbah, which was kind of a bummer. Guides tried hard, tho. Bring snacks for the bus.
