    What to expect

    Watch as hawks soar just meters away in an open-air amphitheatre, then take a photo with a resident owl. After the show, stroll through forest trails lined with aviaries, and enjoy the peaceful bush setting and seasonal wildflowers along the way.

    • 1km forest walk: Follow a self-guided trail through native bushland, passing spacious aviaries that house over 40 resident raptors, from nocturnal owls to wedge-tailed eagles.

    • Accessible pathways: The gravel track suits all-terrain prams and wheelchairs.

    • Conservation focus: Learn how the centre rescues, rehabilitates, and, where possible, releases injured birds of prey, knowing your visit directly supports this vital work.

  • What to bring

    • Bring comfortable walking shoes suitable for unsealed gravel paths.

    • You may bring your own food, but please avoid glass products, alcohol, straws, and barbecues.

    • Bring weather-appropriate clothing, as the experience operates rain or shine.

    • Still and video cameras for personal use are welcome (flash and external lighting are not permitted).

    What’s not allowed

    • Flash photography and external lighting are not permitted for the wellbeing of the birds.

    • Glass products, alcohol, straws, and barbecues are not allowed on the premises.

    • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds.

    • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

    • Pets are not permitted, except for registered assistance animals.

    • The main 1km bush walk is an unsealed gravel path, best suited for all-terrain prams and wheelchairs.

    • A shorter, stroller-friendly route is available for families with young children or those needing easier access.

    • Accessible parking spaces are available on site.

    • Family-friendly amenities and accessible restrooms are available.

    • Please arrive on time; the Birds of Prey Encounter show starts promptly.

    • Allow at least 90 minutes for your visit to enjoy both the encounter and the forest walk.
