We loved the sheer natural wonder of this gigantic cave. The guide was friendly and had a strong voice so we could all hear. He helped us understand how the cave was formed, named the different formations, told us about its discovery and history, allowed enough time for photos, warned us kindly when to be careful either of the cave formations or of our heads when we had to duck a little, gently kept the little ones among us in voice control. All of it enabled us to have a substantial familiarity with the surroundings in the cave, beyond the pure awe we felt at the sights.

The tour was exceptional! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating insights about the cave's history. The massive chambers, towering crystal formations, and the stunning "frozen waterfall" flowstones completely blew me away. An unforgettable experience. I loved learning about the ancient Tasmanian Tiger fossils and seeing one of the longest straw stalactites in the world. The lighting beautifully highlights the intricate cave coral and shawls. Highly recommend

Our guide Ava was knowledgeable and fun, I went with my 6yo boy - I do think Mammoth caves is more suitable for the younger ones, parents need to be aware that kids need to independently walk the 250+ steps up and down each way, and have the patience and interest to pay attention and stay curious for the 1 hour guided tour. We had a great time, loved our experience.
