The Musée d’Orsay isn’t just a museum: it’s one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left, like a feeling that’s hard to explain but impossible to forget. As soon as you walk in, you get a sort of silent “wow.” The former train station, built for the 1900 World’s Fair, welcomes you with that enormous open space, the stained-glass windows, the giant clock… and for a moment you stop. Not to look at anything in particular, but just to soak up the atmosphere. It’s one of those places where you don’t feel the need to rush. Then you start walking, without rushing, and little by little you realize that you’re not just looking at paintings… you’re experiencing them. Standing before Claude Monet’s works, you can almost feel the calm of the water and the light, while with Edgar Degas you enter into intimate, stolen moments, as if you were right there with his subjects. But it’s in front of Vincent van Gogh’s paintings that something truly changes: there’s a different energy, more intense, almost restless. You don’t just look at them… you feel them. The great thing is that you don’t need to be an art expert. In fact, maybe it’s better not to be. Because at the d’Orsay, you let your emotions guide you more than your mind. You find yourself stopping in front of a painting longer than expected, without really knowing why. And that’s okay. And then there’s that iconic view from the clock. You look out and see Paris filtered through time, as if you were watching the city from another era. In that moment, you realize that the museum isn’t just inside… it’s also outside, in the city that keeps on living. The Musée d’Orsay is one of those places you don’t just “visit.” You walk through it, and somehow it walks through you. When you leave, you might be tired, but it’s a beautiful, fulfilling kind of tiredness. Like after something that has truly left a mark on you.

Getting to the museum was easy and pleasant, but the galleries were poorly marked, and at least two or three of them were closed for renovations...and those were the most interesting ones to see.

The tour guide was late. He was not prepared and ready and he is annoyed when asked. He is also rude with the older gentleman when he keep on asking if he is going with us past the skipped line.

Was very organized I ask for my ticket on mail very fast response, I received it via mail and I enter at the Luvru museum at exact timing I had on my ticket. Thank you so much other way I wouldn't visit the Luvru museum ,on other sites all booked for the date I wanted and more expensive. I highly recommend if ur stay it's short in Paris, this company!🙏🙂

A wonderful museum with a high quality audio guide which permits wandering around and listen to facts about whatever item you're interested in. Logistically the entrance worked very well and the venue offers a nice atmosphere with clean facilities and a beautiful historic building.

This was 100% valid, reliable with clear instructions that gave us access to the whole museum. It was a tremendous peace of mind in an otherwise overwhelming day. We got to see absolutely everything and had almost no waiting all day.

I think it’s a real shame that the electronic guide was only available in English, especially since AI makes it very easy to provide translations into German or other languages. The tickets weren’t available 24 hours in advance, so it was no longer possible to print them out. The link to the e-ticket wasn’t available at check-in. The Louvre Wi-Fi wasn’t available at check-in either. Only after leaving the check-in area was the Louvre Wi-Fi accessible and the tickets available. That’s not what I call professionalism!

Unfortunately, the information in the email and on the tickets was different. The app didn't display the tickets. I had to resubmit the request via AI. Not really great. In the end, there was no clear explanation. All in all, the reservation was too expensive, since we ended up paying 69 euros for two people, even though the listed ticket price was 22 euros each. But the museum is incredible!

I was not able to get my family in to the louvre without Headout's support. We did a day trip to Paris and my girl - who is just learning about Mona Lisa - shared it was her number one thing to see. I foolishly thought you could buy day of but was shutdown and only thanks to Headout were we able to go and fulfill her dream. They made it easy and stress free. Grateful.

I enjoyed the experience. I didn't like the organization: the agreed-upon entry time was 9:30 a.m., but the ticket said 10:00 a.m. An audio guide was promised at the time of payment, but the staff refused to provide one.
  • The Louvre Museum

The Louvre is the most visited museum in the world with over 10+ million visitors every year. Once you've entered, feel free to browse through some of the 380,000 exhibits (with 35,000 currently on display) in the Louvre Museum. These are spread over 8 curatorial departments - Egyptian Antiquities; Greek, Etruscan, and Roman Antiquities; Near Eastern Antiquities; Islamic Art; Decorative Arts; Sculpture; Paintings; Drawings, and Prints. Some of the must-sees that you should try to not miss at the museum are Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Liberty Leading the People by Eugène Delacroix, Michelangelo's The Dying Slave and the Rebellious Slave, the ancient Greek statues of Venus de Milo and Winged Victory of Samothrace, Hammurabi’s Code from 1754 B.C. and much more.

    The Orsay Museum

Established in 1986, the Orsay Museum is one of the newest museums in Paris but also one of the most important. It is an institution that houses paintings from one of the most influential periods of French Art, the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist eras of the late 19th Century. At the Orsay Museum, you will not only see famous paintings but also have the chance to catch sweeping views of Paris from its top floor. Admire here masterpieces from artists such as Paul Cezanne, Frederic Bazille, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, and Alfred Sisley. The exhibitions are arranged in a chronological manner, with early 19th-century sculptures and classical paintings on the ground floor, leading up to the Impressionist paintings on the second and top floors. Most of the highlights of the Orsay Museum are on the top floor.
