Tickets were easy to buy and saved a small queue. Parking was easy. The walk to the castle stunning. The castle was well presented inside and out. The paper guide and the exhibition were very helpful and informative. Lunch in the cafe was great and the gift shop was worth a visit. The best part for us on a beautiful day was the parkland and river. The rose garden and the trails especially by the river. As we left we discovered the stable area but the donkeys were missing ( probably sheltered from the heat. Overall a great day out. And I'm sure if we came back we'd discover more. Good value.Leire

Easy access, no queuing and the flexibility of being able to visit at any time during opening hours. The children's ticket didn't work once, but we were able to sort that out easily at the ticket officeBrian
