We had an amazing day exploring Sintra, Pena Palace, Cabo da Roca, Cascais and Quinta da Regaleira. The itinerary was very well organized, so we never felt rushed even though we visited many beautiful places in one day. Every stop had enough time to enjoy, take photos and explore on our own. The highlight of the tour was definitely our guide, Robinson. He was incredibly friendly, funny and full of positive energy from the very beginning. He shared lots of interesting stories about Portuguese history and culture, but always in an entertaining way that kept everyone engaged. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and his enthusiasm made the whole experience even more special. Robinson also made sure everyone felt comfortable, answered every question with a smile and kept the group together without making anything feel stressful. His sense of humor created such a relaxed atmosphere that the bus rides were just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. The scenery throughout the day was breathtaking. Pena Palace looked like something out of a fairy tale, Quinta da Regaleira was fascinating, Cabo da Roca offered incredible ocean views, and Cascais was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastal atmosphere. Overall, this was one of the best day trips I’ve ever taken in Portugal. If you’re considering visiting Sintra and the surrounding area, I highly recommend this tour. And if you’re lucky enough to have Robinson as your guide, you’re going to have an unforgettable day filled with great stories, laughter and wonderful memories. 10/10 experience!

Out tour guide was amazing. Loved the detailed explanation and the places we visited. So worth it. The free times and food were perfect. We had just enough time to try the cuisine, the lemon-cinnamon cookies are so unbelieveable I have been trying to bake them. Our tour guide bought us those 'Long Pillows'. Not only that we also are now friends with our travel partners. It was such an opportunity to make new international friends. My parents don't know English and I had to translate for them. Our guide realised it and took breaks in between speeches for ne to translate properly. Overall; great tour with amazing timeline, vehicle, guide, people and places. I want to start by congratulating Ricardo, our guide, who kept us entertained the whole time, made us laugh, and explained everything in great detail throughout the tour—he’s truly a master of his craft!! Next, and just as important, the tour as a whole was incredible—a very comfortable, air-conditioned bus and a great itinerary. We were able to learn a lot about Portugal without any discomfort. Cabo da Roca was amazing, Sintra and the palaces were spectacular, and we also thought the price was excellent!! The tour was wonderful in every way. Iván, our guide, was attentive, friendly, and very funny. Driving along the coast to Cape Rocas, with his explanations of the landscape, really helped us understand the place we were visiting. The tour of Sintra and the Finca da Regaleira was very well-organized and clearly explained. The same goes for the visit to the Pena Palace. Once again, all of this was made possible thanks to Iván’s expertise—he’s an excellent guide.

What to bring

Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as the tour involves walking and outdoor activities.

A child safety seat must be brought if travelling with a child, as bus providers do not supply baby seats.

Pack your sunhat, sunglasses, SPF, and water bottle to beat the heat, especially during summer.
