Made my airport transfer completely stress-free. I used Headout to book my transportation to Fiumicino Airport (FCO) in Rome, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The booking process was quick and straightforward, and all the information I needed was available immediately in the app. When traveling, one of the biggest concerns is getting to the airport on time, especially in a busy city like Rome. Thanks to Headout, everything was clearly explained, easy to access, and worked exactly as expected. Having my booking details readily available gave me peace of mind and allowed me to focus on enjoying the last day of my trip instead of worrying about logistics. What I appreciated most was the reliability and convenience. The service delivered exactly what was promised, making an important part of my journey smooth and hassle-free. I would definitely use Headout again for future travels and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable and user-friendly travel platform.

Visiting the Colosseum and the Roman Forum was a beautiful experience and something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. The Colosseum is absolutely stunning and even more impressive in person, but what truly left me speechless was the Roman Forum. Walking through its ruins, you can’t stop imagining how people lived, worked, and gathered there thousands of years ago. It feels like stepping directly into history. An unforgettable experience.

The Leonardo Express is really fantastic. Very easy to find when you get off the plane. If you miss your timeslot, no worries you can just take the next one. Every 15 minutes a train leaves to Rome. When you get in there are enough seats to sit comfortably during the trip. After about 32 minute you arrive in Rome at the big station Termini, in the middle of the city.

Visiting the Colosseum was one of the highlights of my trip to Rome. Seeing this incredible ancient structure in person was awe-inspiring, and it gave me a deeper appreciation for Roman history and engineering. Walking through a place where gladiators once fought made history feel real, making it an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to every visitor.

The train is very near the airport and brings you very fast, around 30 minutes, to city center Rome for just about €. 15,00. I think every 30 minutes a train leaves. Could be less. Anyway; a good start of a visit to beautiful Rome, the eternal city.

    Colosseum

    The Glory of the Colosseum

The Colosseum is one of Italy’s most popular destinations, attracting over 5 million visitors every year. Believed to have been constructed as a gift from the ancient emperors to the Roman people, this grand outdoor amphitheater once served as the epicenter for entertainment, hosting various public spectacles and games. A stage for gladiator fights, often including animals, the Colosseum has quite a bloody past. Step back in time, marvel at the impressive architecture, and walk the floor of the greatest arena known to mankind.

Marvel at the Palatine Hill & Roman Forum

Your Colosseum ticket also includes entry to the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. Head to the Roman Forum and travel back in time as you walk along the same paths as the ancient Romans did. You’ll get a chance to witness popular sites including the Temple of Antoninus Pius, the Temple of Castor and Pollux, the Temple of Saturn, the Arch of Septimius Severus, and much more. Palatine Hill offers one of the best views of the city. Once considered the most desirable neighborhood in Rome, Palatine Hill lives on an extensive archaeological site and was the chosen spot for Emperors to build their homes.

How To Avail Your Audio Guide

That’s right, your ticket comes along with a handy audio guide that will help navigate your way through the Roman attractions. Tune in to a digital audio guide from your smartphone - yes, it’s that easy. You’ll find an interactive map of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum. Walk around the venues and tap on the area you’re at and listen to commentary dedicated to that spot.

You’ll receive information on how to download the audio guide on your smartphone in an email once you’ve booked your tickets.
