In addition to the Palace, you can also visit the Royal Armory, where you can see a collection of countless suits of armor belonging to the various kings who have lived there. The admission fee was well worth it. After the tour, there’s also a section of the gardens you can explore, which I highly recommend. As for the Almudena Cathedral, which is right across the street, I only saw it from the outside—I just don’t understand why you’d pay €8 to enter a Christian church. But some people do pay.MMassimo M
