I ha 2 excellent guides. The first one explained the history of the castle with many details in English and in German. After this he answered all our questions. The second guide accompanied me alone to the clock tower and explained everything about it!

The tour was great. Get ready to climb a steep hill at first, but it nice you reach the top, the view are amazing. And the fun part is leaving since you are walking downhill.

Our guide was excellent—she was inspiring and shared fascinating details and anecdotes about the castle’s history and its rulers. Wish her all the best. There were queues in several places, but they moved fairly smoothly overall. The main challenge was the narrow corridors and two-way traffic. Buying tickets online was easy, but on-site we would have appreciated clearer instructions on how things work and that we needed separate paper tickets, etc. The staff were helpful and friendly, but clearer guidance would significantly reduce their workload.

Original e-mails went to spam. I did an online chat that was helpful but I had to ask for help for getting the audio guide for 2 more people in my group. Quite confusing in the cathedral as there was so much information. by the time we got to the Golden Lane, the audio guide was no longer available!! Failed completely on trying to download the audio guide for the river cruise. There was an English commentary, but could hardly hear. Air con was not working on the boat, so wasnt that pleasant
