Landmarks in Athens

Anna (the fun red headed archiologist) was amazing, she gave so many unique facts and stories about the Panthion and surrounding artifacts. Her tour was captivating and her tour even included dad jokes. She provided time for photos, let us know where to take them and provided time for questions. She gave information about Greek language, Greek history and about restoring monuments on top of information about the monuments. I highly recommend

I used the Gray Line Athens Hop-On Hop-Off bus for 2 days combined with the Parthenon entrance ticket, and the experience was excellent. The buses were consistently on time and very reliable, unlike many hop-on hop-off services I’ve used in other countries. The routes are long and well planned, covering many interesting areas, with three different routes to choose from. The Yellow (Beach) Route was my favorite for its relaxed scenery, while the Blue Route is shorter but still very appealing, and the Red Route offers a comprehensive overview of Athens’ main highlights. The Parthenon ticket made everything very convenient. There was no need to queue, and entry was quick and hassle-free—just scan the barcode and walk straight in. Overall, this combo offers great value and is a very efficient way to explore Athens comfortably.

It was a wonderful clear day to visit. Our guide Demetrius ( I believe)was engaging and provided a wealth of information. It was like taking a fun graduate level field trip with your favorite professor. 100% worth booking.

Kostas was a fabulous guide, teaching us so much about the archeology, history, culture, and people of ancient Greece! He was knowledgeable and told great stories, really bringing these sites to life! Over the course of the full tour, we really felt like we got to see all the key areas of the Acropolis and also the museum. This ticket was a great deal for the money and made for a perfect first full day of our Athens vacation.

The guide Dido (hopefully I wrote it correctly) was great. The audio guide works on GPS - it starts an interesting story and then just switches to another and you cannot hear the ending. In general, the tour is great for lazy afternoon in the city, if you don't want to plan anything yourself. Everything is taken care of. And the view of the temple is great even without buying the entering tickets.

It all started with a great pick-up right at the landing stage of our ship. When we got off the boat, we saw the bus just leaving. A quick call from the driver of the next bus and the first bus drove back a few meters and we were allowed to ride along. All the transfers to the next buses also went very smoothly. Thank you very much!

If you are doing tours adhoc and didn't have time to book a guide, this is the way to go. The explanations are really good, you are being guided by the gps feature so you know what you are looking at, depending your location, very useful in places like delphi and the acropolis. The ability to ask custom questions would be amazing, I hope the developers add it soon.

The accommodations for me with a broken ankle were superb! Golf cart ride to elevator, elevator to the summit. Easy. The ruins were absolutely stunning!
