After having trouble the first time booking, I had to book again but the day was enjoyable lots of walking involved but was nice and cool in the heatwave, main concern not much of break time to allow drink and toilet, and also don't drink too much as toilet is quite a way, Otherwise worth a visit

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Wieliczka Salt Mine was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Poland. Descending deep underground into a world carved entirely from salt was both fascinating and breathtaking. The chapels, sculptures, and vast chambers showcase incredible craftsmanship and history. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the mine’s story to life. Despite the many stairs, the tour was well-paced and absolutely worth it. If you’re visiting the Kraków area, this is a must-see attraction that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression.

Autista puntuale e gentilissimo, ci ha mandato un messaggio su Whatsapp con targa e marchio del van. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di essere solo in due, quindi come avere un transfer privato. Ha provveduto a fornirci i biglietti facendoci saltare la lunga fila e dandoci ogni informazione necessaria. Era disponibile solo la guida in inglese all'orario in cui potevamo andare noi, ma parlano tutti in modo molto chiaro. Consiglio assolutamente!

The mines where very interesting and maintained really well. The tour guide Veronica was very good and knowledgeable. She took time to make sure any questions where answered and checked in through out the tour with everyone.

What to bring

Bring comfortable shoes; there are 800 steps to climb, with 350 at the beginning descending into the mine.

Bring warm clothing, as the temperature underground ranges between 14°C and 16°C, even in summer.

Student ID is required for student tickets.

What’s not allowed

Baby strollers, baby carriages, and luggage or bags larger than 30 x 20 x 10 cm are not permitted inside the mine.

Smoking and the use of open fire in the mine are strictly forbidden.

Alcohol and drugs are not allowed.

Animals are not permitted in the mine. The mine does not offer animal shelters.

Accessibility

This experience is not suitable for people with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.

Not suitable for people with claustrophobia or heart problems.

There are 800 steps to climb, with 350 at the beginning descending into the mine.

The start time may change due to the availability of guides in the museum; please check your plans accordingly.
