Highly recommend Schindler’s Factory. The museum is incredibly informative, immersive, and deeply inspiring. It does an excellent job of bringing Kraków’s history during WWII to life in a way that’s engaging and respectful, making it meaningful for both adults and kids. The exhibits pull you in room by room, and you leave with a much stronger understanding of the human stories behind the history. Definitely buy skip-the-line tickets. They were absolutely worth it...especially when we saw long standby lines outside in the cold. It made the experience smoother and allowed us to focus fully on the museum rather than waiting. A powerful and memorable visit that shouldn’t be missed while in Kraków.

I think the best part about my visit was the KNOWLEDGE our tour guide had. He explained everything in details, answered questions and even shared his own experiences which made this trip memorable. I visited the museum for many reasons but my main one was to learn about my heritage, our tour guide shared so much history with me I struggled to keep my emotions in. There were soo many things to look at from hand written letters to personal belongings, pictures and other. This place is 1000% worth visiting, as its a place full of memories and at the end of the tour you will definitely have a different look on life. Thank you so much

It's an excellent place to visit and the factory is really well laid out to learn about the history from before the war until the end of war. It covers some really key parts. However the tour itself felt very rushed, we missed some parts because we wanted to read some of the information on the boards as well. It was a big so it wasn't always possible to hear the tour guide if you ended up at the back. I'd love to go back to the museum but I think next time we'd do it at our own pace. Tour guide was also late, and we'd arrived the 15 mins early it said to. In this weather that wasn't fun.

First of all, the name of this tour should be corrected to "World War II Museum and Information about Oscar Shkinler." The tour is generally well-documented, with nice photos illustrating Krakow's history and World War II, but the Oscar Shindler is only featured in a small part of it. In any case, nice tour for Krakow history and Schindler's job. I quitted the tour early because of another scheduled tour for Wawel Castle. I joinef another tour guide for Getto. I like it much, tour guide was a man graduated from Jewish history. Wall, park, Getto history and houses were perfectly described.

The museum is a treasure time capsule which allows a rare look into the past. It was most communicative and felt as if we were travelling in time. I highly recommend it to everyone! 🙏

An extraordinary experience, an exceptional museum, a lesson in humanity in times when humanity itself was in question. The talented guide, fluent in English, very enthusiastic and friendly, with a multitude of very interesting collateral stories, but at the same time with enough statements that do not respect the historical truth about Schindler, whose role in saving 1200 Jews during WW2 he anyway minimized greatly. Schindler is presented with all his known moral flaws, while questioning his humanity in the motivation for saving those 1200 Jews and rather attributing it to a strictly profit-driven interest in using cheap labor, even though it is known how he spent almost his entire fortune on bribes given to the SS to save as many Jews as possible. He also stated that Schindler was never in Israel, because it is forbidden for any former member of the Nazi party to set foot on Israeli territory, even though it is documented that he visited Israel 17 times. He also told us that the story of the ring given to Schindler by his Jews is a lie introduced in Spielberg's film, although it is very well documented: The ring was made by Josef Gross—one of Schindler's Jews, and the original lead mold is on display at the Holocaust Museum in Melbourne, where Gross lived after the war. Or that Roma Ligocka is 92 years old (she is actually 87) and that he is a family friend of hers, visiting her periodically in Craiova, although she is settled in Munich. Upon closer analysis, it seems that in fact a large part of the tour's text is a story with many invented or imagined elements, or personal opinions, to give a certain "color" to the entire message.

La visita al museo è estremamente interessante e coinvolgente. Consiglio di effettuare la visita con la guida perché riesce a dare moltissime informazioni e a far capire molti aspetti che altrimenti sarebbe difficile cogliere. Da migliorare un po' l'organizzazione della consegna dei biglietti perché sulla App sono resi disponibili soltanto i voucher e il messaggio del tour operator che avvisava della consegna dei biglietti all'ingresso del museo è arrivato 2 min dopo l'orario di inizio prestabilito, per cui al nostro arrivo eravamo un po' spaesati.

The whole process of booking the tour was seamless. Unfortunately I was running late for tour, due to missing my tram stop. I got in touch with Ewa who reassured me that my guide would be informed. My tour guide Michal was waiting patiently for me and was really understanding about my tardiness. Michals' guide through the Factory and the Jewish Ghetto painted a vivid picture of this atrocious time in history. Michal was knowledgeable, personable and enlightened.

What to bring

Wear comfortable shoes as a fair amount of walking and stair climbing is involved.

Bring a warm layer, especially if your tour includes the Wieliczka Salt Mine, where the temperature is around 14°C (57°F).

What’s not allowed

Large bags and backpacks are not permitted inside the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the museum or the salt mine.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

This experience is suitable for wheelchair users.

Additional information

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time; latecomers may be denied entry and no refunds will be issued.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The tour of the factory is not recommended for children under 14 years due to the emotional intensity of the experience.

The salt mine, located about 14km from Krakow city centre, involves descending and ascending approximately 800 steps.
