If you're a wildlife enthusiast, there's no better place to be than at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures! Located just about 40 minutes from Cairns, the sanctuary offers you the chance to see some of Australia's best native wildlife up close within a 10-hectare, World-Heritage protected environment. Kids will love the 25-minute cruise that lets you spot crocs in their natural habitats, or going on the Cassowary Walk to admire the strikingly colored birds that date back millions of years. The Wildlife Discovery Trail plays host to a wide mix of reptiles and birds too, not to mention cuddly koalas and slithery snakes!

During Stage III of the Queensland government’s COVID-19 response, there will be limitations on visitor capacity at wildlife shows, reduced passenger numbers on boat cruises, and limited seating in Lilies Restaurant

Interactive behind the scenes tour Big Croc Feed, Reptastic 5, and Zootastic 5 are available but limited numbers

Lilies Restaurant will be operating on a limited menu during the COVID recovery period. Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and can dine in the park. No BYO alcohol, please. Take away food is obtainable

Children must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible adult

Go by private vehicle or hire a car - parking is free

Look for the Brown and White signs on the highway at Wangetti; the car park is just 100 metres off the Captain Cook Highway

Please note due to limited internet/data coverage at the location, some navigation systems may not recognise the private access road. Turn off the highway, then left at the road named Harry Freeman Drive
