Super vriendelijke medewerkers, maken je echt welkom voelen. Alles perfect geregeld end de shows waren al fantastisch, met humor en interessante feiten, maken je echt trots als Nederlander. En dan de 'flight'! wat een ervaring, alle zintuigen PLUS worden geprikkeld. Als er Michelin Sterren zouden worden uitgereikt, dan is This Is Holland zeker 3 sterren!

A surprising and fun multi-sensory experience for the whole family of all ages. The beginning is a bit unclear. You go through 2 rooms with an explanation and it is in Dutch, which is a shame because there are many tourists who don't understand the language - it's a shame that there are no projections with English or other languages spoken (it's hard to follow the presentation and also read the translation quickly). But then the main part itself - makes up for it. But it would still be good if they improved the point I mentioned.

Mijn zonen van 7 en 9 waren onder de indruk van alle 3 de ruimtes met veel informatie wat heel duidelijk werd uitgelegd. Uiteraard is de vlucht over Nederland het meest favoriete stukje. We hadden wel graag nog een stuk over Limburg gevlogen, wellicht kan dat later nog toegevoegd worden. Het was in ieder geval qua prijs kwaliteit naar verwachting en we raden deze informatieve en spannende uitstapje aan!

Getting started

Begin at THIS IS HOLLAND, opposite Amsterdam Central Station, for a ticket scan before entry. After your flight, and if your ticket includes it, head to the cruise departure point just a short walk away, on the other side of the station.

What to expect

This immersive attraction takes you on a multi-sensory journey through Dutch history, featuring engaging shows and a lifelike 5D flight simulation.

Features

5D Flight Experience: Glide over Dutch landmarks, including UNESCO-listed windmills and Amsterdam’s canals, with special effects that make you feel like you’re truly flying.

Pre-recorded shows: Learn about the Netherlands’ history and culture through pre-recorded shows presented in Dutch with English subtitles.

Extras

Enhance your visit with a 1-hour Amsterdam canal cruise, and sail past sights such as the Anne Frank House and Jordaan, with a multilingual audio guide.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID that matches the name on your booking to show at the entrance.

What is not allowed

Cameras are not permitted inside the Flight Experience.

Pregnant women, individuals shorter than 1 meter, and children under 4 years old are not allowed to participate in the Flight Experience.

Guests with heart or circulatory conditions (including pacemakers or cardiovascular diseases), epilepsy, or those recovering from back or neck surgery cannot participate.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the experience.

Large bags and personal belongings are not permitted inside the attraction.

Accessibility

The attraction is wheelchair accessible, with lifts available for guests with mobility needs.

Accessible restrooms are available on-site.

Staff are on hand to assist visitors with mobility requirements.

Additional information

A time slot reservation is required for entry; book your time slot upon arrival in Amsterdam.

Children aged 5–12 and those between 100 and 130 cm must be accompanied by an adult seated next to them during the Flight Experience.

The experience is not suitable for guests with severe motion sickness or vertigo.

The boarding point for the cruise is near Amsterdam Centraal Station.

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

Please arrive at the redemption point 15 mins before the scheduled time of your visit to avoid any delays.
