Rome for first-timers

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nothing prepares you for your first glimpse of the Colosseum. The sheer size of the structure is incredible, and we were completely blown away. Walking through the Colosseum and the Roman Forum felt like stepping back in time and experiencing the history of one of the greatest empires the world has ever known. An unforgettable experience and an absolute must-visit in Rome!

We could never have navigated these busy sites without our expert guide - it was unbelievably busy and hot in high summer but the tour guide did a fantastic job of making it enjoyable and informative. I am a history buff and the guide managed to make some interesting points i hadn't considered about the exhibits whilst keeping us all together and navigating everything. Would definitely book this tour guide and this company again for other things. We're very glad we booked this tour.

We paid the for most expensive ticket and it was so worth it. Pompeii was an absolute incredible experience to walk the streets of an ancient city and to see the devastation that was left behind. I would 100% recommend everyone to go to Pompeii to walk the streets, and to go inside the museum section to see what was left behind.

The Eurial Global Flexible Pass has been easy to use and manage my tickets. It's nice that you can use one day and take multiple trains within that day (very helpful when you have missed your prior train). It provides most of the platform numbers at each station. Only thing I can say that I wish was better about it is that, it would be nice if there was a better list of train station names for cities (got on train to another part of the city)

La nostra guida in italiano è stata fantastica, ci ha spiegato tutto con molta attenzione e nei minimi particolari. È stata una lunga camminata e una bellissima atmosfera che ti fa entrare nella storia dell'antica Roma.

Ce fut un moment mémorable le fait de monter et descendre quand on veux c'est extraordinaire et facile nous avions pris pour le voyage 48h comme ça on était pas pressé. Et faire pratiquement tout les beaux monuments de Roma. A faire sans hésitation.

Everything was as we expected, from the beginning to the end of the journey. Francesca, our guide was wery nice and friendly and shared a lot of informations. Also the local guide from Pompeii was excellent! We had a very good day! We recommend and we give 5 ⭐to this company!

This was our first booked activity after arriving in Rome in the morning and it was one of the best things we did on our 3 day trip. The colloseum is impressive in itself but our guide Gini really brought it to life. She was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Especially showing us pictures of how the Roman forum would have looked and showing us some vantage points that we would not have otherwise seen and explaining what would have happened in each. I would definitely recommend this type of tour and a big thank you to Gini, who not only was a fab tour guide but took some great photos of us. Thank you 😊
