The Pompei guided tour was very good. It has covered the daily life of the people of Pompei. The fact that the area of the Pompei site is huge, a guided tour truly saves us a lot of time to explore it on our own. A BIG round of applause to our tour guide Igor, who has made the tour very interesting. Highly recommend to those who will visit the Pompei ruins to book the guided tour.

Aller au point Tourisme face a l'entrée du site pour récupérer les billets (ce n'étaitpas très clair sur la réservation). Audioguide pas très pratique sur le smartphone. Un guide papier et une bonne carte du site sont plus pratiques. Site fabuleux. Le billet Plus est indispensable car Villa des Mystères vaut le voyage. Fabuleuse visite pleine d'émotions.

Personale informato e disponibile, area ben organizzata ma devo registrare alcuni punti in cui ho trovato la pulizia non puntuale .Non ho visto personale di servizio girare per le direttrici di passaggio e in alcune situazioni ho trovato carte e residui di cibo dentro dei resti di colonne e a terra (l'incivilta' non migliora).

Paseas por un pueblo. No se ven las ruinas desde arriba como en otras ocasiones sino que verdaderamente entras en sus casas y patios, ves sus fuentes, ves sus mosaicos, sus inscripciones y frescos... de hecho entras hasta en sus bares! Está guay, lo recomiendo :)

C'était très bien expliqué et facile de trouver l'endroit où retirer son ticket. À faire attention qu'ils essaieront de vous vendre un plan ou un audiographe en plus de celui déjà payé avec le ticket. Celui de l'application m'a suffit amplement.

What to bring

Valid photo ID for entry; full names are mandatory for Pompeii bookings.

Earphones if you’ve booked an audio guide. If you are given a physical audio guide, bring wired earphones (3.5mm jack).

Comfortable shoes are recommended due to uneven terrain and moderate walking.

What’s not allowed

Large dogs over 10kg/40cm (guide dogs with certification are welcome).

Revealing clothing or shirtless attire inside the Archaeological Park.

Accessibility

Uneven terrain and limited accessibility across the site.

South-side entrances are more accessible; the main entrance is not recommended for wheelchair users.

Not ideal for visitors with impaired mobility or cardiac conditions.

Free entry for disabled visitors and one companion.

Additional information

For physical audio guides, a valid ID (such as a passport) must be deposited as security and the handheld device must be returned after the visit.

Facilities include cloakroom and luggage storage at the Superiore Entrance.

Free entry for children under 18 with valid ID.

EU residents aged 18–24, and eligible non-EU residents with Italian permits, can avail reduced ticket prices.

Free admission on the first Sunday of every month.
