Sehr feine Tour, bei der wir sehr viel gelernt und erfahren haben. Die Organisation war auch sehr gut, der Treffpunkt war klar, Gepäck könnte sicher verwahrt werden. Mit Kopfhörern konnten wir alles sehr gut verstehen. Wir konnten uns manchen langen Weg (z. Bsp. Toiletten) verkürzen durch kleine geheime Tipps oder Vorzüge. Nicht gewusst hatten wir leider, dass einem die Security -Schlange nicht erspart bleibt und diese war fast zwei Stunden lang. Es wäre gut, darüber noch genau zu informieren im Vorhinein. Wir hatten leider zu knapp eine darauffolgende Tour gebucht und dachten, 3 Stunden wären ausreichend Zeit. Leider mussten wir so schon früher diese Tour verlassen . Ich denke, man sollte gute 5 Stunden für diese Tour einrechnen. Das ist aber nicht die Schuld des Veranstalters, sondern so sind einfach die Umstände. Die Tour war wirklich großartig, meinem Sohn (14) und mir hat es sehr sehr gut gefallen. Vielen Dank für alles! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

J’ai eu la chance de faire la visite guidée de la basilique Saint-Pierre avec Sam, et je ne peux que le recommander vivement. C’était tout simplement génial ! Sam parle un français parfait, il est très compréhensif, à l’écoute et prend le temps de répondre à toutes les questions. Il maîtrise parfaitement son sujet : ses connaissances sont impressionnantes, et il sait les transmettre de manière claire et passionnante, sans jamais être trop scolaire. La visite était rythmée par des anecdotes captivantes qui rendent l’expérience encore plus vivante. Il nous a tout montré avec beaucoup de pédagogie et d’enthousiasme. En plus, il nous a vraiment facilité la visite en nous indiquant comment gérer l’attente pour accéder au dôme, ce qui est un vrai plus ! Franchement, c’était parfait du début à la fin. Un grand merci à Sam pour ce moment exceptionnel ! Les corses

I enjoyed thinking about and discussing a little about how Michelangelon was given a lot of freeodom in choosing how to manifest passages from Genesis and Revelation. His freedom of the artist does not totally limit the meaning and interpretation of indviduals who are inspired by "Mike's" work, from their own understanding of Scripture. Regarless of Michelangel's own attutude toward his subject, the images he used, or the "models" he used to portray the biblical narrative, those who also know the narrative will, hopefully with cause, draw even Christian meanings from the images and their arrangements themselves. In other words, Michelangel's intentions, are not necessarily the controlling factor in how the individual viewer sees, values, and interprets the meaning of the art and its arrangement for themselves.

Visite des lieux très intéressante avec un guide au top. Seul bémol : la visite a lieu à 9h45 et les billets sont à retirer à l'agence sur le côté de l'entrée au Vatican car lors de la réservation il ne nous ai pas remis les billets définitifs. . Il est noté sur le site de l'agence que celle-ci ouvrait à 10h00. Nous avons traversé Rome pour retirer les billets la veille de peur de ne pouvoir faire la visite mais en fait l'agence est ouverte avant et il faut se rendre 1/2h avant la visite pour retirer les billets définifs. Il serait plus judicieux de remettre les billets définitfs lors de la réservation pour qu'il n'y ai aucune ambiguité

Thank you for having us in your agency as tourists. Very friendly staff! A big TOI! For miss Martha! She is very kind,positive and full of knowledge and Information! Also she is attentive with the group counting and recounting. We add the fact that she likes to keep up and see if the tourists are memorizing what she explained and said by asking the group questions and having more than a usual conversation. Die Führung durch den Petersdom war super. Trotz einer langen Warteschlange, die über den ganzen Platz ging, hat uns der Guide sehr gut informiert aber auch unterhalten. Er hat Fakten mit Humor gemischt, was die Wartezeit umso angenehmer gestalten hat. Diesen Stil hat er ebenfalls in der Kirche behalten, was sehr angenehm war. Nachteil: Die Audioverbindung zum Guide ist in der Kirchen häufig abgebrochen oder hat sich mit einer anderen Gruppe vermischt. Deswegen konnte man den Guide an gewissen Zeitpunkten nicht hören.

The tour guide was excellent. Truly excellent. He did a brilliant job in difficult circumstances. You need to know that there is an unavoidable queue to get into the church via the security scanners. No fast track exists. It is a long queue but moves pretty quickly. The tour guide kept us entertained all the wait with the history and architecture of the area. Once you are in there is a "fast track" for guides in that there are 3 checkpoints to 1 the ordinary way. The Bascillia is breathtaking and worth the visit alone. The guide made it much more interesting however. My kids were engaged through it and asked questions which he was really good at answering. His enthusiasm and knowledge was outstanding. The Dome - personally I would not bother. It's a very long queue to get even to the stairs and the view is fine but nothing special in the scheme of elevated places. Save the time and spend more in the church is my advice. The tour guide is worth the money. Audio guides we also had are just not close to bringing it to life and you can't ask questions!!

Todo muy bien. Desde la recepción en el punto de encuentro hasta los ingresos. Todo fue más rápido de lo esperado. En todo momento nos sentimos muy cómodos y cuidados por María, nuestra guía. Durante todo el recorrido fue sumamente amable y empática, tanto con los niños( había dos en el tour) como con los mayores( como yo). Las descripciones han Sido muy simples de entender y muy detalladas. Seguramente lo recomendaremos. Gracias.

Wir hatten heute eine fantastische Führung im Petersdom. Schon während wir in der Warteschlange standen, haben wir so viele interessante Informationen erhalten, dass uns die Wartezeit sehr kurz vorkam. Im Dom selbst gibt es so unglaublich viel zu sehen, dass es ohne Führung kaum möglich ist, alles zu erfassen. Wir würden diese Führung jederzeit wieder buchen und können sie absolut weiterempfehlen.

Good experience, guide was knowledgeable and kept good interactions with the small group of 9. However St Peter's basilica was not accessible and we were given a ticket for later on 5pm which was not working for us and there was no prior notice of this

The Dome climb involves over 300 narrow steps in an enclosed space and may not be suitable for those with claustrophobia or limited mobility.

Additional information

All visitors must pass through airport-style security checks; allow extra time, especially during peak hours when wait times can be up to 2 hours.

Entry to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Dome may be subject to closure without prior notice due to religious ceremonies or Vatican events. If the underground or Dome is closed, alternative arrangements will be made.

Similarly, the special access passage between the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on Wednesdays and may be unavailable during major celebrations like Easter. On such days, your guide will instead lead you to the magnificent Pinacoteca Gallery.

The elevator for the Dome only goes to the first balcony; the remaining ascent (320 steps) must be done on foot.

The tour does not include access to the Vatican Museums or Sistine Chapel.
