I would like to thank Bagonk (driver) and Patrick (mountain guide). They were both fantastic. Bagonk was very friendly and messaged me the day before to confirm pick up time- he also navigated the roads very well and made sure we were all comfortable. Patrick was also amazing and I appreciated how he would check in with us on the trek up and down. The tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Bali. The sunrise was beautiful and well worth waking up early for! We went to the hot springs after the trek and it was also very atmospheric.

Special thanks to our very kind driver Bagonk and our guide Luna! They both made sure we had the best experience, which it definitely was! The hike itself was quite difficult and we were sweating like crazy, but it was absolutely worth it when you reached the top! It was also very cold up there, so definitely pack a sweater! The coffee tasting and hot springs afterwards were also a very nice touch and made the experience complete. Absolutely recommend it!

Hiking Mount Batur was the highlight of my trip! The trail offers beautiful scenery, and our guides were incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the climb. Amazing experience though the fog on the top hid the sunrise. Private transfer and driver was excellent and allowed me to get an extra hour of sleep before the hike. The guide on the mountain was amazing and together with group made it an unforgettable experience.

it was such a great experience. i went with a friend of mine and i recommend it to 100%. The only thing is that the hike to the top is very tuff, but it's worth it!!! We also saw monkeys on the tpop!!

Getting started

Start early, before dawn. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in a shared or private vehicle, depending on your ticket. Drive to the base of Mount Batur, where your guide will greet you. Show your booking confirmation and ID at the entry point. Quick security check before the trek begins—no large bags or outside food allowed.

One of Bali’s most sacred volcanoes, Mount Batur is famous for its epic sunrise views and spiritual significance.
