We did the Mount Batur tour a few days ago. At 2:30 am we got picked up by our excellent driver Aguss. The biggest respect, because he told us that he does this every day. We arrived at the meeting point and began hiking Mount Batur. Would definitely recommend this tour, because the sunrise was beautiful and worth getting up so early. We than walked down, got picked up by our driver, who drove us to a coffee plantation. Aguss made sure we felt very comfortable and even offered to lay the seats down because we were so tired after waking up so early. We would definitely recommend going on this tour when you're in Ubud.

I would like to thank Bagonk (driver) and Patrick (mountain guide). They were both fantastic. Bagonk was very friendly and messaged me the day before to confirm pick up time- he also navigated the roads very well and made sure we were all comfortable. Patrick was also amazing and I appreciated how he would check in with us on the trek up and down. The tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Bali. The sunrise was beautiful and well worth waking up early for! We went to the hot springs after the trek and it was also very atmospheric.

Molto bello! La nostra guida Jason (non so se si scrive così) è stata veramente top! Parla benissimo inglese e ha reso veramente piacevole la salita, con pause e aneddoti sulla montagna. La salita è molto tranquilla, in un paio d'ore si arriva alla cima. Dopo la discesa siamo andati anche alle terme che erano davvero calde e a fare una degustazione di caffè/tea in una piantagione davvero bella con una vita super. Consigliato!!

Mount Batur sunrise trekking is a big journey. You have to be prepared, fisically prepared to make it. It is a hard climb, but the prize in the end is beautiful. The staff is also great. Our driver Broto is a great person, very polited and helpful. Our trekking guide Roman is a funny man, very professional. We liked everything.

We had the absolute best experience and could not be happier with the day. From the start our driver Aguss arrived on time and got us ready to start our trek. We then had a brilliant guide, Jesen, who was so patient, knowledgeable and kind. The view was worth ever penny. After our hike Aguss also kindly took us round to the hot spring and coffee tasting. It was a 10/10 day!

Start early, before dawn. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in a shared or private vehicle, depending on your ticket. Drive to the base of Mount Batur, where your guide will greet you.
