Just booked my Uluwatu Kecak Fire Dance ticket through Headout – and the experience was smooth from start to finish. Maruli from Simompoy Tour even contacted me right away on WhatsApp, explaining exactly where and when to meet him. Because of this, I don’t have to worry about tickets selling out or standing in the long queue inside the temple. I can just walk in, meet Maruli, grab my ticket, and head straight to the show – completely hassle-free.

This was such an amazing experience! From exploring the temple to watching the sun set over the cliffside while waiting for the show to begin. It starts off nice and slow, but by the end, you'll have no idea what hit you!! You are sure in for a fun surprise that keeps you laughing and smiling the whole way home. Just be careful with the monkeys! Don't wear any sort of glasses, no hats, don't carry a water bottle (keep it in a zipped bag) -- they can and will snatch up anything! But there are employees ready to help barter to get things back... Your glasses just might not come back in perfect condition (mine didn't -- oops!)

Absolutely one of the highlights of our two week trip to the magical island of Bali. Kecak is incredible and SO impressive - I'm a professional performer and have honestly never experienced anything quite like it. The whole production was so beautiful and so moving, and the backdrop of the sunset over the Indian Ocean was simply breathtaking. Our Headout guide Maruli was very kind, and the process of retrieving our tickets was seamless.

Tolle Show in toller Kulisse, Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu lang. Aber ich kenn die Traditionen in Bali nicht. Die Organisation der Karten war nicht gut . Sehr wirr. Die Information, dass man für den Eintritt im Tempel noch mal bezahlen muss wäre hilfreich. Deshalb würde ich jedem Empfehlen vorher eine Tempelbesichtigung zu machen und 1,5 h früher da zu sein.

Really nice experience and we really enjoyed the Kecak & Fire Dance. The performance was impressive and gives you a good feel of Balinese culture. I would recommend getting the tickets online in advance to avoid disappointment, as there can be a huge rush at the entrance and tickets may sell out. Overall, definitely worth experiencing if you’re visiting Bali. Just keep in mind that younger kids might not be very interested.

One of Bali’s most scenic sea temples, Uluwatu sits dramatically on limestone cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean. The temple grounds and surrounding viewpoints are known for sweeping ocean views and vibrant sunset scenery.

Features

Watch the famous Kecak Fire Dance in an open-air cliffside amphitheater overlooking the Indian Ocean at sunset.

Dozens of male performers chant rhythmic “cak-cak-cak” patterns while retelling scenes from the Ramayana.

Expect dramatic fire elements, traditional costumes, and expressive storytelling through movement and gestures.

The performance lasts about 60 minutes and takes place entirely outdoors.
