Very easy to purchase online tickets and claim it at the desk. Spectator show. I kept thinking about a review I read about the show being "borning" and it's the complete opposite! Even my 3 year old daughter (as was the same with my other young kids) was captivated for the full hour. What an immersive cultural experience. Respect to all the chanters and dancers. This was are truly amazing.

Full marks to the performers for their dedication and craft but as an Indian already thoroughly familiar with the story of Ramayan, it felt like a normal show. The fire element was just a tiny bit and other than that everything was pretty normal nothing wow. The best and rather the highlight of the show was the sunset which made it worth the hike so if anyone is planning to visit only go for 6pm show or skip it.

It was a new experience , new type of dance .. it feels quite boring after 20 mins .. not everyone will enjoy this .. even I don't enjoyed it this much .. Headout tickets are okay .. I skipped the queue and get entered first

Beautiful scenery, an outstanding show, and an amazing guide. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. One word of caution: beware of the aggressive monkeys! Protect your glasses. They like to steal and break them.

With online tickets you skip the long line of people waiting and you get tickets in literally few seconds. Anyway, you jave to wait later in line to enter the show and soonee you go to the line better the seat you will get to take. The show itself is amazing.

The show is more than a typical firedance because it is a story with men chatting as the background and actors in elaborate costumes, and set on the grounds of an large temple that hangs on the cliffside with the sun setting. Exciting experience.

Must do cultural experience. Very good show for families with young kids. Be there 30 mins prior thr start to get good seating. Beware of monkeys.

Getting started

The temple area gets crowded before sunset, so it’s recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the show. Entry gates are located near the main parking area, and staff will scan your ticket before directing you to the performance area. Please note that the Uluwatu Temple entrance fee is paid separately at the temple gate.

One of Bali’s most scenic sea temples, Uluwatu sits dramatically on limestone cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean. The temple grounds and surrounding viewpoints are known for sweeping ocean views and vibrant sunset scenery.

Watch the famous Kecak Fire Dance in an open-air cliffside amphitheater overlooking the Indian Ocean at sunset.

Dozens of male performers chant rhythmic “cak-cak-cak” patterns while retelling scenes from the Ramayana.

Expect dramatic fire elements, traditional costumes, and expressive storytelling through movement and gestures.

The performance lasts about 60 minutes and takes place entirely outdoors.
