We had a really enjoyable morning of hiking up Mount Batur and were lucky enough to see a stunning sunrise. Our guide was great! Funny and thoughtful. Il trekking sul Monte Batur è davvero un esperienza particolare e carateristica che non si vede ovunque. La guida è stata gentilissima e disponibile, si fermava ogni volta che qualcuno del gruppo aveva bisogno di una pausa, per questo ringrazio molto Rina per tutte le foto e i video che ci ha fatto e fatto fare. Nel tour è compreso il driver che viene a prenderti in hotel e ti riporta alla fine dell'attività, Wardana è stato il nostro driver, disponibile, informato e molto professionale. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, consigliatissimo.

Everything went as it was planned. Our driver Bayu was very professional. He picked up us on time. Our guide Lisyta was very helpful. She always check if we are okay during the tour. The service that they provided was perfect! It is important to mentioned that as per our opinion the tour is not family friendly as there are difficult parts during the hiking.

We had a great time! They provided pick up which was on time. We got our own private guide. We made it to the top in 1,5 hour and had to wait for the sun to come up. The guide took lot of photos of us so we "would remember forever". When we got back around 8 in the morning our driver was waiting for is and drove us safely home, thanks alit!

Our guide Ali was amazing! She was really attentive and helpful on any difficult parts. She made us feel safe and would recommend her to anyone doing the hike. Our driver was also great - arrived on time and got us home safely

Suas was a great driver for us, we even stopped at the coffee plantation after the Batur hike! During our hike our guide was Sonia, she led us up to the summit quick and took very nice pictures at the top as well!

Chasing a sunrise, like no other

Chase Bali’s most magical sunrise on a guided Mount Batur hike, topped off with scenic views, breakfast cooked over volcanic steam, and optional post-hike indulgences.

Getting started

Start early, before dawn. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in a shared or private vehicle, depending on your ticket. Drive to the base of Mount Batur, where your guide will greet you. Show your booking confirmation and ID at the entry point. Quick security check before the trek begins—no large bags or outside food allowed.

Mount Batur

One of Bali’s most sacred volcanoes, Mount Batur is famous for its epic sunrise views and spiritual significance.

Hotel transfers are available in these regions: Denpasar, Ubud, Sanur, Seminyak, Canggu, Legian, Kuta, Nusa Dua, and Jimbaran.

The hike is long: 1.5 hours one-way. And it gets chilly – the summit temperature ranges between 8° to 15° C

Extra pickup charges of IDR 400,000 apply for locations in East, North, and West Bali, including Lempuyang, Amed, Lovina, Munduk, and Balian Beach.
