Wir hatten einen Tourstart um 11:30, dieser wurde am gleichen Tag am Vormittag dann auf 12:00 verschoben und schließlich hat sich am Treffpunkt herausgestellt, dass wir erst um 13:30 allein (ohne Guide!) starten konnten! Um die Wartezeit zu überbrücken, haben wir uns das Forum Romanum angeschaut und durften vorab 20min bis zu unserem Einlass warten. Beim Kolosseum durften wir uns erneut 10min anstellen, obwohl wir ein Slot hatten. Das Ganze ist ein großes Ärgernis und wir können diese Organisation überhaupt nicht empfehlen!

Es hat alles funktioniert und wir mussten uns nicht in die Reihe stellen. Beim Treffpunkt war es allerdings etwas chaotisch. Obwohl die Besammlungszeit am Treffpunkt um 9 Uhr war, hatten wir erst um 10.45 Zugang zum Kolosseum. CHF 51 p.P. für Kolosseum mit Arena, Forum romanum und Palatin ist definitiv zu viel!

Visiting the Colosseum was great experience however the instructions of the headout were incorrect and we run around the area few times before we understood what to do. When you have the tickets just go to the entrance and don't follow the instructions given.

Die Eintrittszeit zum Kolosseum wurde durch den Anbieter geändert. Dadurch hätten wir 2 Stunden warten müssen oder den Platinhügel und das Forum Romanum nur Eineinhalb Stunden besichtigen!

The Colosseum

Head over to the Colosseum and explore its immense amphitheater - the largest ever built by the Roman Empire. It is here that gladiator fights and public executions took place. If you've chosen access to the arena, you will get to walk in the footsteps of the gladiators and see how it must have felt. Your ticket also gives you access to the Roman Forum, where you can see the tomb of emperor Julius Caesar. Also visit Palatine Hill, the foundation of Rome and settlement of the most important houses of emperors and kings.

Bioparco di Roma

The Bioparco has been wowing visitors since 1911. This zoological bio park is home to 1,200 wildlife from around 200 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. It is also famous for its conservation efforts and educational programs. While you're here, learn about the dangers facing animal habitats and food chain systems, and how you can help save these beautiful animals from extinction. Along the way, see hippos, giraffes, tigers, bears, leopards, snakes, birds, monkeys, and more. Colosseum

Your tickets are timed so you must enter the Colosseum at the time slot selected at the time of booking.

If you choose an afternoon slot to visit the Colosseum, you will not have sufficient time to visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill on the same day. Should you wish to conclude your visit on the same day, please plan your visit to the Colosseum accordingly.

Note: Entry to the Colosseum is free on the first Sunday of every month.

Bioparco

For reasons related to the needs of animals, the following departments will close:

REPTILARY: 60 minutes before the park closes

FELINI (lions, lynxes, leopards, tigers): 60 minutes before the park closes

CHIMPANZÉ: 45 minutes before the park closes

GIRAFFES, BEARS, ELEPHANTS, RHINOS: 30 minutes before the park closes

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time of your experience to avoid delays.
