L'organizzazione è stata perfetta! Ci hanno anticipato la visita di circa un'ora e mezza, ma sapevamo che poteva succedere. Per il resto gli spostamenti in autobus e la visita sono stati organizzati egregiamente. Ad agosto c'è tantissima gente e quindi la visita si svolge un po’ velocemente. Ma la nostra guida Margherita, che parlava un italiano perfetto, ci ha accompagnato con grande professionalità, competenza e profondo rispetto. Inutile dire che la visita è stata veramente molto toccante, ci siamo commossi più volte. Vedere dal vivo quei luoghi, i capelli, le scarpe dei bambini, ti smuove qualcosa dentro, non si può spiegare. Noi ci tenevamo tanto a fare questa visita che consigliamo a tutti! Anzi dovrebbe essere obbligatoria per tutte le scuole.

Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau was a deeply moving and unforgettable experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, respectful, and explained the history clearly and sensitively. Walking through the camp was emotionally difficult, but it gave us a much deeper understanding of the Holocaust and the importance of remembering its victims. The tour was very well organized and conducted with the dignity this place deserves. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in history—it is not an easy visit, but it is an important and meaningful one.

Wir konnten mit einem sehr aktiven Guide und einer tollen Reiseführerin eine eindrucksvolle und der Geschichte des Ortes Ausschwitz sehr angepasste Führung erleben. Die Organisation - angefangen von der Buchung mit Zusendung der Treffpunkthinweise als auch Erinnerung, über den Empfang am Treffpunkt, dem Transfer zwischen den einzelnen Stationen bis zur Verabschiedung - verdient ein riesiges Dankeschön. Besonderen Dank auch an unsere Reiseführerin, welche das Museumsgelände und die Geschichte sehr eindrucksvoll dargestellt hat.

Ho apprezzato molto l'empatia e la preparazione della guida che ci ha accompagnato nel percorso di visita ad Auschwitz-Birkenau. Ha saputo accompagnarci con competenza, professionalità e la delicatezza necessaria in un luogo così importante. Ci ha raccontato alcuni aneddoti di storie di persone che hanno vissuto quei luoghi così drammatici rendendo così il percorso ancor più intenso.

To trip was well worth going and we learnt so much about all prisoners in the camps including the Russians. One real annoyance though. We booked a 8am trip but the day before were told to get to pick up at 05.05am. Frustrated to say the least. This seems to be a regular occurrence with feedback. So tourists beware.

The tour guide Marek Wlodarczyk was excellent, showing the care & thoughtfullness needed for such a dlicate subject. He showed style & grace throughtout both venues over many hours of the tour. Would heartily recomment it as a very worthwhile full day in Krakow.

Apart from the time being changed the day before from 9am to 5:30am (it meant we had more time to see other things later on in the day) the rest of the tour was excellent. The organisation was good no problems with the pick up or drop off. Approaching Aschwich, as we entered the car park, you could feel the atmosphere shift into a quiet respectful silence. Walking through the grounds and brick blocks was deeply solemn and tough experience and anchored to the atrocities which people endured. An unforgettable experience which we should never forget. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable she explained everything in detail and looked after us well. A must see experience that you will never forget!

Nu te poți pregăti pentru momentul când treci pe sub poarta aia blestemată cu "Arbeit Macht Frei". Nu te poți pregăti pentru camerele pline cu păr, cu ochelari, cu valize... fiecare obiect a fost un OM. Un nume. O viață care a visat, a iubit, a sperat. La Birkenau, tăcerea țipă. Șinele acelea de tren care se opresc în nicăieri... barăcile infinite... vântul care parcă încă mai duce strigătele a peste un milion de suflete. Aveam un nod în gât și am pus capul în piept. De durere, de neputință, de rușine că omul a putut face asta omului. Dacă ajungeți în Cracovia, mergeți. Nu e turism. E o lecție. O datorie. Ca să nu uităm NICIODATĂ.

The guide Karol was fabulous, but could have been approachable for more questions. It didn't take from the experience though. The driver was fabulous and kept everyone on time. The bus was on time. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Plenty chances to snack. I wish this was never a museum/memorial people need to visit, but as a memorial it was done so well. You can read all you want, it doesn't compare to standing where they stood and I have come away with some inward reviewing.

La visita al campo de Auschwitz, sin duda alguna. Lo que menos me ha gustado es la comunicación y organización por parte de la plataforma Headbout, un dia antes nos indica que cambian la hora y el punto de encuentro, pero wl mismo día de la excursión recibo un sms indicándome que la excursión se inicia a la hora indicada por primera vez. Muy mala comunicación

De gids had goede kennis van zaken en wist goed het verhaal over te brengen. Op de juiste plekken ook vragen om respectvolle stilte vanwege de heftige gebeurtenissen op die plekken. Let wel op dat de vertrektijd stevig kan wijzigen. We hadden aangemeld voor de groep vsn 10:00 en zaten om 5:45 al in de bus. Een stuk vroeger dus dan gepland.

Choose from English/Italian/German/French/Spanish/Polish-speaking Auschwitz-Birkenau guides or the Last-Minute English guided tour for spontaneous decisions. Your ticket includes a fast-track entry into both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II–Birkenau, bypassing the long queues. With headsets provided for an immersive auditory experience, you are set to delve deep into the Holocaust's harrowing history. Between the tour of Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II–Birkenau, there will be a 10-15 minute break for lunch, after which you will board a bus for the second part of the visit.

Please note that pets, smoking, luggage or large bags are not allowed.

Strict dress code: short skirts are not allowed.

Large bags and backpacks are not allowed inside the museum; only bags up to 30x20x10 cm in size are permitted.

Baby strollers are not allowed inside.

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair.

Additional information

Guests may have to wait in long queues for some time before entering the camp. Please expect a considerable wait time at the entrance during peak season.

Larger bags and luggage can be stored in the cloakroom.

Pickup times are approximate and may vary on the day of your visit. While your preferred time will be recorded, the exact schedule is confirmed one day in advance and shared via email and/or WhatsApp, so we recommend allowing some flexibility when planning your day.

If your accommodation is outside the pickup zone, in a restricted area, or in a location with limited vehicle access, you may be asked to meet at the closest available pickup point.

Auschwitz is a highly regulated and sensitive historical site, and there are occasions when fast-track access cannot be guaranteed due to decisions made directly by the museum authorities.

Please download your ticket after booking and present it at the entrance. Do not present the booking voucher, as it is not valid for entry and cannot be exchanged at the ticket office.
