What to expect
Spanning a large, vibrant park, Knott’s Berry Farm blends old-school charm with modern thrills. There are four themed lands that create an experience that ranges from historic to festive, seaside to mountain camp, offering something distinctive for every type of visitor. Whether you’re seeking high thrills, cultural immersion or family-friendly exploration, each section of Knott’s Berry Farm reflects a different facet of California’s history and spirit.
-
Ghost Town is the historic heart of Knott’s Berry Farm, recreating an 1800s Calico mining settlement with weathered storefronts, working artisans and atmospheric streets alive with Western charm. Guests can take on the towering wooden coaster GhostRider, venture through the detailed mountainside of the Timber Mountain Log Ride, or experience the classic Calico Mine Ride, one of the park’s earliest and most iconic dark rides. The area’s heritage continues through the Calico Railroad and Butterfield Stagecoach, both offering living-history experiences that move through the town as if it were still the Old West. Nearby, Calico River Rapids provides a modern whitewater adventure tied directly to the Ghost Town storyline.
-
Fiesta Village celebrates California’s deeply rooted Spanish and Mexican cultural influences through vibrant architecture, colorful décor, music and food. This recently reimagined area blends traditional motifs with lively energy, anchored by attractions that wind through plazas and courtyards. The family coaster Jaguar! moves in sweeping paths past brightly tiled facades, while La Revolución sets riders swinging high above the village with dramatic rotating motion. Throughout Fiesta Village, entertainment, lighting and refreshed design elements create a festive marketplace ambiance that honors California’s Hispanic heritage.
-
The Boardwalk brings to life the iconic spirit of a Southern California seaside amusement pier with bold colors, coastal motifs and the sound of carnival games filling the air. Thrill seekers gravitate to this section for its headlining attractions, including HangTime, a surf-inspired dive coaster featuring a vertical lift and beyond-vertical drop, and Knott’s Bear-y Tales, a 4-D interactive dark ride that takes guests on an exciting journey through reimagined scenes from the park’s original dark ride. Xcelerator The Ride®, the area’s high-speed launch coaster, propels riders forward with adrenaline-soaked acceleration that has become a Boardwalk signature. Paired with classic flat rides and midway experiences, the Boardwalk channels the energy of a high-octane beachside pier.
-
CAMP SNOOPY® offers a complete contrast, embracing the peaceful feel of the High Sierras while introducing guests to a whimsical world inspired by the PEANUTS® characters. Designed especially for families and young children, this area features shaded forest paths, gentle rides and playful camp theming. The Beagle Express Railroad carries guests through charming wooded scenes, while Sierra Sidewinder offers a more dynamic but still family-friendly coaster experience featuring spinning cars. Attractions like CHARLIE BROWN’S® Kite Flyer and PIG-PEN’S® Mud Buggies provide accessible fun for the park’s youngest visitors. Character meet-and-greets add to the warm, storybook sense of adventure that defines the area.
