Our trip to the Kenedy Space Center was amazing. We met with John Herrington, an astronaut who told us all about working on the international space station. He answered many questions, and shared facinating stories from his life. Viewing the Atlantis shuttle with the Canada arm extended up close realy puts things in perspective.Sean

It was nice to get to talk with an astronaut who happened to be Norm Thagard. He was a gentleman to talk to and was very expressive on his answers. Funny thing was when I found out who it was, I was frantically looking up dates on when his flight landed at Edward's to see if that was one of the landings that I saw. Nope it wasn't him. Still I got to explore the Saturn V exhibit and had a great time. My only miss was tge Atlas V launch that I may have made parts for launch. The exhibits were great, the simulators were very well done. I had a great chat with the gentleman tgat was the host of the Rocket Garden tour. The early missions, those astronauts were extremely brave to not only get into a tiny capsule thats not much larger than a recliner on refurbished ICBMS. I wish I would have purchased a second day. Always next year. To those that are space geeks like I am Go!!!Johanna

We took our 10 year old grandson to NASA. We did the breakfast with the astronaut and saw all the interactive displays. The staff there was very knowledgeable and passionate about the program and working there. A very memorable trip.
