What to expect
Stedelijk Museum
Founded in 1895 and reopened in 2012 after major renovations, the Stedelijk Museum showcases movements from Mannerism and Pop Art to Minimalism and Neorealism. Highlights include works by Picasso, Mondrian, Matisse, Chagall, Malevich, and Appel, alongside bold, thought-provoking pieces from today’s emerging artists. The result is a vibrant mix of classics and contemporary experiments that reveal the ever-changing language of art.
