Bravi Raffaele!

Firstly very easy to find our guide with instructions provided, and throughout the tour Stefan was very informative as well as throwing in a few jokes as well. The tour wouldn't have been as interesting without him. Loved it .

Very insightful visit, we covered a lot. Our guide Steffan was very knowledgeable and adapted the story to the diverse audience- we were a group of Dutch, Romanian and American tourists.

Step into imperial Vienna with a 2.5-hour guided tour of the Hofburg Palace, Sisi Museum, and gardens. Skip the lines for seamless access.

Getting started

Meet your guide at Schullin "Watches" in Michaelerplatz, Vienna, for a quick check-in and ticket validation. After a brief introduction, your guide will outline the tour highlights before leading your small group into the palace complex.

What to expect

Hofburg Palace Complex

This UNESCO World Heritage Site was the seat of the Habsburg dynasty for over 600 years and remains a symbol of Austria’s imperial legacy. The palace complex houses the Sisi Museum, Imperial Apartments, and historic courtyards, offering a deep dive into Vienna’s royal past.

Features

Sisi Museum: View Empress Elisabeth’s personal items and discover her life story, set against the backdrop of the opulent Imperial Apartments.

Imperial Apartments: Explore lavish chambers, salons, and offices once used by the Habsburgs, showcasing authentic furnishings and royal décor.

Hofburg Courtyards and Gardens: Walk through Heldenplatz and Burggarten, home to elegant statues and fountains, and enjoy views of the Spanish Riding School’s Lipizzan horses.

Expert-guided insights: Benefit from live commentary in English, delivered by a licensed guide, with headsets provided for groups of 18 or more.

Renovation notice: Some rooms in the Sisi Museum may be inaccessible during renovations in 2025.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID matching the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

Baby strollers, umbrellas, and scooters are prohibited on the tour.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the museum and palace areas.

There is no luggage storage available for bags, extra clothing, or personal items.

Accessibility

The Sisi Museum will undergo renovations in 2025, and access to certain rooms and exhibitions may be restricted.
