I did 7 different tours with Head out, ALL very professional, on time and with clear directions and where to meet.... Truly reomemd it!!!.. Unfortunately I was a victim in other websites , Headout has been my best experience . Good job guys!!

The ticket office was easy to find, however, we thought we had purchased the actual audio guide as that is what it says on our ticket, but we only had the guide book. We were given a a couple of complementary audio guide to share between the 6 of us, but had a very hard time. I think the audio guide would be amazing, but I would do one that doesnt require cell service as it was very spotty.

Tutto veramente perfetto, scavi tenuti in maniera egregia (ma siamo a Pompei e non poteva essere diversamente!) ma soprattutto la nostra guida, di nome Mia, con la sua preparazione, la proprietà di linguaggio e l'attenzione verso il gruppo, nelle due ore di visita ha destato l'interesse di tutti lasciando un ricordo della giornata indelebile. A fascinating visit to Pompeii. Being able to wander around the site at our own pace was ideal for us. The only thing I would improve would be clearer instructions regarding how to get to the correct entrance gate from Pompeii railway station. The correct entrance for us was a 15 minute walk from the station.

An amazing experience. Rich in history and content from the get-go. The ruins are so well preserved and access is very open allowing such a great insight into life back in Pompeii 2000 years ago. At times you can almost imagine youself walking through the town in its prime. I recommend giving at least 2 hours to walk around the ruins, and at least 4 for those who enjoy learning about hsptry and taking in the detail. Parking was easy, plenty of food / service areas and despite the large crowd, we rarely felt held up by the amount of people, due to the amount of content and size of the town. I will return.

Easy to book, obtaining our tickets was really easy. We obtained a guide book and map, giving us lots of information. We visited in September 25, there was less people as we arrived in the afternoon. Could easily see all the ruins.

Before you enter the archeological park, collect the guidebook and map from the ticket office located on the first floor of the Pompei Scavi train station.

Ticket holders for this experience must use the dedicated line at the Porta Marina Inferiore entrance of Pompeii in Piazza Esedra.

Tip: Try a 'Pompeiian Loaf' or panis quadratus, from nearby bakeries, a local bread recreated from a 2,000-year-old recipe found in Pompeii.
