We had a fantastic guidertour at Pompeii. A special thanks goes to our guide, Mr. Igor, who made the tour both engaging and informative. His knowledge of Pompeii’s history was impressive, and he had a great way of explaining things so that even our son(13yrs) could easily follow and stay interested. He brought the ancient city to life with fascinating stories, details, and insights that we would have completely missed on our own. Mr. Igor was also very friendly, patient, and attentive, making sure everyone in the group was comfortable and involved. The pace of the tour was perfect—not rushed, but still covering all the key highlights. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience for all three of us. We highly recommend this guided tour, especially with Mr. Igor, to anyone visiting Pompeii

The whole process was brilliant. We didn't need to queue, Maria led the 2 hour tour, it was engaging, inclusive and witty. She also kept our daughters (aged 12 & 14) attention and they were fascinated. When booking, I looked at reviews of a few companies and this one came out on top. The meeting spot is in the upstairs of the station and you just need to cross the road with the group and you're in.

The Pompei guided tour was very good. It has covered the daily life of the people of Pompei. The fact that the area of the Pompei site is huge, a guided tour truly saves us a lot of time to explore it on our own. A BIG round of applause to our tour guide Igor, who has made the tour very interesting. Highly recommend to those who will visit the Pompei ruins to book the guided tour.

Personale informato e disponibile, area ben organizzata ma devo registrare alcuni punti in cui ho trovato la pulizia non puntuale .Non ho visto personale di servizio girare per le direttrici di passaggio e in alcune situazioni ho trovato carte e residui di cibo dentro dei resti di colonne e a terra (l'incivilta' non migliora).

Paseas por un pueblo. No se ven las ruinas desde arriba como en otras ocasiones sino que verdaderamente entras en sus casas y patios, ves sus fuentes, ves sus mosaicos, sus inscripciones y frescos... de hecho entras hasta en sus bares! Está guay, lo recomiendo :)

What to bring

Carry your earphones for an immersive audio guide experience. If you are given a physical audio guide, ensure you arrive prepared with wired earphones (3.5mm jack).

A moderate amount of walking is involved in this activity. Please wear comfortable shoes due to uneven terrain.

Full names are mandatory for Pompeii bookings. Double-check the names at checkout for a hassle-free entry. Be sure to bring a valid Photo ID with you to gain entry.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: No discourteous clothing or shirtless attire is allowed inside Pompeii Archaeological Park.

Big dogs (above the weight 10kg and the height of 40cm) are not allowed into the venue. Guide dogs with the proper certification are welcome.

Accessibility

Pompeii has uneven ground and limited wheelchair access. Use the south-side entrances instead of the main one.

Choose safety and comfort: This experience is not the best fit for people with impaired mobility and cardiac issues.

Tickets to the ruins are free of charge for disabled people and a companion, to be purchased directly on-site.

Additional information

Whether you will be allotted a digital pr physical audio guide will be communicated at the time of booking. You can decide what kind of earphones to bring accordingly.

If you're handed a physical audio guide, you must leave a personal document like a passport as security at the supplier's office before collecting the guide. After your tour, you must drop off the headsets and your document will be returned to you.

Facilities: cloakroom, luggage storage. Head to the Superiore Entrance to make use of the onsite luggage facilities.

The fee for the excavation sites of Pompeii is free for all first Sundays of the month.

Children under 18 enjoy free entry with a valid ID.

If you’re an EU citizen aged 18-24, you can avail the ticket at €2.

The same discount applies if you’re a non-EU citizen with a valid Italian residence permit (for study, work, family reasons, etc., as recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
