Good afternoon, I am a tourist from Romania who visited the Schindler Factory on June 30, 2026, together with my son. We entered at 12:20 p.m. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff of this museum, and especially to the guide who accompanied us throughout the entire tour and introduced himself as Thomas. He has a remarkable talent for explaining the exhibits and keeping visitors engaged in everything they see and hear. He shared a wealth of fascinating information and insights that we had not found anywhere else, presenting them with great respect and a profound understanding of the history of that period. Both my son and I were deeply impressed by this visit, but above all by Thomas's professionalism, knowledge, and dedication. We are truly grateful that we had the good fortune to be guided by someone as exceptional as Thomas. Thank you for making our visit such a memorable experience.
    • Skip the ticket line and head straight into Oskar Schindler’s Factory, a landmark of Krakow’s WWII history.

    • This landmark was a former enamelware factory run by the German Oskar Schindler, who saved the lives of more than 1000+ Jews.

    • It now has immersive exhibits on Krakow under Nazi occupation, including personal belongings and photographs of Jewish citizens and the Barbakan defense structure, a medieval remnant.

    • Walk through rooms that inspired the movie “Schindler’s List,” gaining insight into the city’s Jewish community and wartime resilience.

    • Upgrade for a guided tour to uncover personal stories, rare artifacts, and the impact of Schindler’s heroic actions during the Holocaust.

    • Enhance your visit with a walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto, led by a live guide sharing firsthand accounts and hidden history.

    • Alternatively, opt for a combo tour with the UNESCO-listed Wieliczka Salt Mine, complete with transport, headsets, and a professional guide.

Booking was easy and information with a picture of the meeting point was fine. 👍 The experience at the museum was not what I expected. On the tour we heard only little about Schindler himself and how he saved all these people. What exactly did he do, what made him change from full blown nazi to helping jews? How did he manage to manipulate the Germans? Why did it save people by moving the factory to another country? And so on. Facts and more in depth information as if we had not seen the movie (comparisons etc being completely fine, of course). If you want to know more about life in general during the war, this museum is worth visiting. If you want to know and understand more about Schindler himself and what made him so extraordinary (apart from someone making a movie about him), I would seek knowledge in other places.
