Niagara Falls (Canada) Hornblower Cruise, Journey Behind the Falls with Guided Tour

It was an easy book and easy meet up! Alisha was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, and patient while waiting for everyone. She was also helpful with me and my family when we decided to opt out of the Niagara takes flight show (which replaced the boat tour). We were super bummed about the boat tour getting cancelled due to inclement weather, but we understood. We did not want to see the show, so of course, I had to make sure we got a refund. The thing I was frustrated about was how difficult it was to connect to an agent through chat on the HEADOUT app. At first, you have to go through an automated service before connecting to an agent, but because I was still on the tour, I kept getting disconnected before I got to an agent. I would have to get out of the app and then retry again and find messages from an agent trying to help but had to leave because I took too long to answer. I tried calling but no one would answer. So I sent an email. That pretty much did the trick. Even though it was frustrating to make sure I got a refund, it was a relief that I did. And it didn't take long at all for the money to be refunded, so that was great. The Skylon Tower was pretty cool, seeing the falls at a Birds Eye view! I liked that we were able to go outside to hear the falls. It was also nice of Alisha to give us time to shop in the gift shop and use the restrooms. On our walk to Table Rock for Journey behind the falls, it was a lovely day, a bit chilly, but enjoyable! Alisha showed us several fun stops, including her friend, the black squirrel! Sadly we had to part ways when we got to Journey behind the falls since we were not partaking in the show. The journey was pretty cool! Going down in the caves and getting to see behind the falls! Just wish that instead of Niagara takes flight, the power plant was a better option to replace the boat tour.

Our tour guide, Gladys, did a fantastic job of sharing her knowledge of Niagara. Due to the season, we weren't able to do the cruise but it was substituted for Niagara takes Flight and I would highly recommend. This was an experience we will never forget and we "flew" through Niagara and the surrounding area and seen the beauty of it all. Great tour and would do it again!

We went during winter so we didn't get to do the actual cruise. But our guide was on time, super knowledgeable and professional, and we were treated to incredible views of the falls both at the lookout points and the tunnels behind the falls. The niagra takes flight was unforgettable as well. An unqualified recommend from us!

All of the attractions were very good. We couldn't go by boat near the falls but that attraction was substitued by another one fantastic. The guide Julián Romera was very kind and profesional

Our guide, Kingsley, was an absolute delight, brimming with fascinating details about the Falls. He met us at the Starbucks located at the base of the Skylon Tower where you'll learn about the daring individuals who have attempted to cross the falls and witness the various vehicles they used beyond the barrels, including kayaks and a massive steel ball. Then we took a beautiful walk until we got to the Journey Behind The Falls. Walking behind and right up against the Falls is an unforgettable experience! The only other attraction that comes close to this is the Cruise that takes you into the heart of the Horseshoe Falls. I’m thrilled that I had the chance to experience both attractions because they allow you to truly immerse yourself in the falls at your own pace. In this experience, you’ll get much closer to the Falls, hearing the thunderous roar and feeling the water spray against you. Niagara City Cruises offers an exhilarating experience that goes beyond imagination. There’s simply no comparison to witnessing the Falls from any other vantage point. While we’ve had other amazing views, this immersive experience is truly beyond words. My wife was in awe, and my son and I were incredibly excited. To secure the best spot on the boat, head to the bottom front right corner. Be sure to wear the protective gear, as you’ll be entering the heart of the Horseshoe Falls. It may appear like a heavy mist, but it’s like stepping into a rainstorm as you approach the Falls. You might want to bring a second change of clothes, as we were thoroughly soaked! Despite the wetness, I would do it all over again. It was an unforgettable experience!

Our tour guide, Kevin, was awesome! He knows so much about the area and its history, which made the tour very memorable. We also appreciated that he had photos to illustrate much of the history of the falls. Our boat trip was delayed because of weather, but the tour group re-organized the itinerary so we still got the full experience. Kevin also recommended a pinball arcade for a later part of our anniversary trip, which was a great experience too! Highly recommend the tour and Kevin in particular
