Niagara Falls was a place on my bucket list, so was important to be memorable. The tour with Niagara Falls Canada: Guided Tour with Hornblower Cruise & Journey Behind the Falls mad that possible. It was exciting to walk with our tour guide Lubnah and get valuable details on the city and what makes it so special. He did an amazing job with keeping a good walking pace while interacting with the group with the city details, fun little quizzes, and nice conversations. Also, the attraction of the waterfalls, being in the cave to see multiple views and perspective was worth the experience. There was a lot of smiles, excitement, and enjoyment on the cruise getting closer and closer to the waterfall and even interact with others. The staff did a good job getting us on and off the boat in a timely fashion with no injuries or accidents. This was definitely a experience worth participating in.

I really enjoyed having Mateen as our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, and he made the experience much more enjoyable. He was happy to answer our questions and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the tour. As far as the tour itself is concerned, I especially enjoyed the boat tour. It was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights for me. The only downside was the huge lines, which made the wait quite long, but once we were on the boat, it was absolutely worth it. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend the tour, especially with Mateen as the guide.

We had a fantastic experience on the Niagara Falls Canada Guided Tour with Hornblower Cruise & Journey Behind the Falls. Our guide, Parminder, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very well organized. She shared many interesting facts about the history and geology of Niagara Falls and made the whole tour easy and enjoyable. The Hornblower Cruise and Journey Behind the Falls were both unforgettable experiences. It was amazing to see, hear, and feel the power of the falls up close. We never felt rushed, and Parminder took great care of the group throughout the tour. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Parminder as your guide!

Ya tenía tiempo queriendo conocer las cataratas, recibía comentarios desalentadores porque decían que eran simples caídas de agua; sin embargo, el paquete elegido fue genial y completo, ya que no involucró sólo ver una caída de agua, sino que, al conocer los datos de las personas que llegaron a atreverse a saltar en las cataratas y poder visualizar la caída de agua desde los túneles, te permite conocer la magnitud y apreciar la belleza de la naturaleza, yo volvería a visitarlas y volvería a tomar el tour!!

We were met by the team at the Skylon tower. Introduced to Emery who was friendly and professional. All of the activities were fabulous, Skylon Tower, behind the falls and the Hornblower boat tirip on Niagara. Emery was polite informative and told us historical stories which were very interesting and sometimes funny. It was a relaxed and fun tour and can highly recommend. Great value great way to get the best activities done. Thank you Emery for a wonderful morning.

The experience itself of being onboard a vessel that travels up to the edge of the tailwaters of Horseshoe Falls is incredible. Nevertheless, it must be said that unless one happens to be among the first ~30 or so passengers, you will not have a place on the rail of the upper level...and no where else is the experience nearly so dramatic nor exciting. The point is, a guide should make sure her/his group is among the early arrivals for an imminent departure.

Pour plusieurs années, nous voulions visiter les Chutes Niagara; cet été, nous l’avons finalement fait et ça en valait tout à fait la peine. La tournée avec Alex de Headout était très plaisante, intéressante et informative. Notre moment préféré était la croisière dans les chutes. Quelle sensation qu’est celle de se faire mouiller par l’eau de cette merveille de la nature de classe mondiale et tout à fait canadienne! Nous voulions en profiter au max, alors nous avons découvert nos têtes pour s’assurer de bien profiter de cette eau fraîche venue de si loin. Merci à Alex, pour sa gentillesse et les informations historique qu’il nous a partagées tout au long de notre trajet. Nous y retournerons un jour, c’est assuré! We’d been wanting to visit Niagara Falls for several years; this summer, we finally did, and it was absolutely worth it. The tour with Alex from Headout was very enjoyable, interesting and informative. Our favourite part was the cruise to the falls. What a sensation it is to get splashed by the water from this world-class, quintessentially Canadian natural wonder! We wanted to make the most of it, so we took our hats off to make sure we really enjoyed that cool water that had travelled so far. Thank you to Alex for his kindness and the historical insights he shared with us throughout our tour. We’ll be back one day, that’s for sure!

Overall we really enjoyed the experience. We only had one afternoon in Niagara, so it was helpful to book a tour. There is a lot to do and see, and it's hard to figure it all out. The experience behind the falls is really neat and we loved getting up close to the falls when on the boat. The tour took us along all the major viewpoints so we saw the falls from a variety of vantage points. The guide provided us with some interesting facts and information which we all appreciated. I wish they provided more details about parking and what to expect from the specific tour we did. We parked next to the tower ( minimum $10) but the tour ended a decent walk away.

What to bring

Footwear and bags: Bring comfortable shoes and a waterproof bag to protect yourself and your belongings from the mist.

Weather gear: Bring weather-appropriate clothing and water, especially for longer or evening tours.

Additional information

Seasonal cruise note: The Hornblower or Niagara City Cruises operate seasonally and are replaced by other attractions in winter.

Winter substitutions: Winter replacements may include Skylon Tower, Butterfly Conservatory, Niagara Parks Power Station, or Niagara Takes Flight, depending on the tour.

Restrooms: Restroom access is limited, so please use the facilities before your tour begins.

Parking: No parking is available at the tour meeting point. Two main paid lots are available on Niagara Parkway year-round.

Parking Lot A: Parking Lot A is closest to the Falls and is located beside the Power Station.

Parking Lot B: Parking Lot B is located at the Floral Showhouse.

Arrival time: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour start time, as refunds are not possible for late arrivals or no-shows.

Group size: Small-group tours may have a maximum of 7 guests, while walking and fireworks tours may have up to 22 guests.

Tour locations: All tours operate on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and do not require a passport.

Walking level: Moderate walking is required on guided walking and evening fireworks tours.

Fireworks: Fireworks cruises run only when Niagara fireworks are scheduled and are subject to weather and visibility.

Helicopter upgrade: A 10-minute helicopter flight may be available on select small-group tours for an extra fee.

From Toronto tours: Day trips from Toronto last about 9 hours and return between 4:30pm and 5pm, depending on traffic.

Tip for nature lovers: Nature lovers, stay alert, as you might spot peregrine falcons nesting on the cliffs at incredible diving speeds.
